Debo, you continue to amaze me with your 2 hour outings plus, bank only no boat. You killed them. I'm sure we don't see the days that are a busy, but my last 2 trips on private waters in a boat have netted one small spotted bass. And that's in 5 hours of non-stop casting with crankbaits, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits and worms. It's really encouraging to watch your videos to see how you do it with simple gear and tactics. Thank you.

One of me and my brothers favorite combos is the AIRD-X with the Regal spinning reel like you were using. We been using them for a few years now and never any issues at all.

Deebo is already extremely relatable and the guy you'd like to grab a beer with. However, he reached maximum relatability to me when he stuck his thumb into the hook and made himself bleed 🤣.
That's exactly what I did, pointed my slx rod straight up, and snap! Not an expensive rod, but it happened in a tournament. Great video Debo. ✌️😎🎣
I have the 7' med version (now 6'10" after breaking 2 inches off with another rod) paired with a 2500 Revros LT. All in it was $100. I have been pleased with the rod and especially the reel. In my opinion the best $49 reel around with a super smooth drag.
Underspins...love/hate relationship for me...They get bit A LOT but I only land like 50%! Drives me crazy...I feel you on this one!

I spent too much damn money on baits this winter. Compinsating for all the actual fishing i couldnt do. So many baits and techniques i want to try this summer but two days ago i texas rigged a curly tail roboworm nothing special... NEW PB 5LBr. Gave me the tingles and everything. Moral of the story dont break the bank keeping it simple works also...

Underspin/topspin has also been the early spring hit for me thus far (low bar). This cold spring is really holding up the bite for us northerners. The fake beard is looking strong lately!

I’ve got the Daiwa regal and it’s an amazing reel for the price. Have it on a 5’5 Mr. Crappie rod. My son has commandeered it and uses it when he goes fishing.

I was fishing with cut bluegill chucks at Kent the other day and caught a super fat 3.11 bass. Very unexpected but I will take it.

Its a slow start here in Ohio so far, been out a few times and nothing yet. Even the kids with their crawlers and minners cant get a bite. So its nice to see your viDEBOs snd someone actually having luck. Love the hat also.
I do have those under spins. Haven't had the chance to throw them yet. I was going to the last time I was out but 15 mile an hour winds with gusts to 22 mph it was too much for the little finesse underspin on the spinning rod.
Spot of super glue will hold that bait to the jig head like a charm 🙌

I had a blast this afternoon using a blue and silver jerkbait. I caught a couple nice 3-3 1/2 I ended up losing the lure. I put on something similar and didn't even have a bit. . So far it seems like jerkbaits are working for me. Thank you for another great video keep on fishing

Daiwa Aird x ..best $50-$100 rod you can buy the last 12 years ..have owned about a dozen and still own about a dozen, some in casting too.. I bought the new Tatula XT- the addordabke one, same as the AirD X
Have that exact reel. LOVE the T handles. One of the main things that won me over to Daiwa!
I had broken two Great Lake finesse under spins. They do catch fish, but they don't hold up well. The hook keeper and the thin wire attached to the blade break easily.
Luckily, I haven't had any issues the times I've used it. You may try a softer rod!

I can’t stand the t-handle. Great video. None better than one combo and bait. Had a lipless bait going end of January / beginning of February that all I needed was a lipless. Top baits, lipless, jig (swim and pitch), Core tackle hover rig, and cover scat baits. Didn’t think the hover rig or poop baits would work, but they get bit.
My boy Deebs I miss you bro, I've been catching them on a 1.75 inch rage swimmer on a 32 ounce ball head jig, down size when in doubt feeshin friends

Aird X is a great rod for the money. Little softer than what they are rated but good rods. Have you tried the Kage yet?
Yes, they are dedicated softer than they are rated! I haven't used the kage.
