- This yummy #yoga practice is dedicated to those who have an over pronounced anterior pelvic tilt, the over arching of the lumbar spine. More serious cases are known as #Lordosis or swayback. This adds stress to the body especially the spine in turn causes aches and pains in the low back. This routine will help bring the spine in a neutral position releasing tension from the hips and lower back creating better posture over time.

A lovely, simple yoga practice for excessive curve to the lower back. Not quite as clearly explained as some of my favourites, but she has a nice clear, soft voice, and it is easy to follow.

Hey would you please tell me that how often should we do this a day and how long will it take to get rid or pelvic tilt.
This practice is a great way to help balance out the body. Anterior pelvic tilts are often affected by our lifestyle so it’s important to counteract the movement to help balance out the body. This can be done as often as you’d like I recommend once a day or every other day which will offer ease and help with back pain. I cannot tell you if this will get rid of your pelvic tilt as every body is different and each condition is different. It’s important to understand that lifestyle plays a big roll in our posture as well and as long as we continue to do things in our everyday life that put strain on our posture we will need to continue to balance out the body with counteractive postures. Thank you so much for this!!! I love jog and want to be flexible and waaay more agile. Unfortunately, since having a near fatal car crash about 8 years ago I lost a lot of lumbar flexibility. And my pelvis is pretty badly tilted.
I could get my foot above my chest before doing this workout a few days in a row with a 10 minute basic yoga workout. Now I can stick my foot on my head!!! Thank you so much!!! Are there any more videos that you think could help very inflexible people with a pelvic tilt?

Can this stretches help to get rid of anterior pelvic tilt?
Yes. These stretches help to balance out the pronounced tilt and help to take some of the stress of the spine. A great way to fix your anterior pelvic tilt would be to combine these stretches along with core strengthening exercises.
What if I feel pain doing these stretches, should I continue doing it or stop it?
You should never feel pain during yoga, you should only feel a gentle stretch. Don’t do anything that causes you pain.
