He just plays the nice guy role for the cameras, like did you see how he insulted and mocked fans for not agreeing with his cynical vision for superheroes back in 2016? He literally told them that if they believes superheroes should have morals they were "living in a fcking dream world" and needed to "wake the fck up" bc his movie was gonna "make you lose your virginity".
He's also extremely petty, when BvS got criticism for Batman killing he literally put out a video of himself reacting to all the scenes of Batfleck killing and every time a death happened he goes "Oh yeah that guy's definitely fine, he's not dead at all".
There's also a strong semi-confirmed rumor that he was the one that started the Snyder Cult himself, financing both bots and a few people to lead the movement on social media, remember the supposed originator of the hashtag RTSC Fiona Zheng? She was one of them, working specifically on Twitter. As soon as the SC got released she completely vanished from the internet, not even supporting AOTD or Rebel Moon, she literally was only there for the SC and then went missing, so much for supposedly caring for Snyder's filmography.
The other semi-confirmed rumor is that he directed Ray Fisher to do some dirty work for him, publicly boycotting WB's execs one after the other pulling the racism card despite no evidence pointing towards racism, and every new exec he attacked coincidentally alligned with who was in charge at the time when Zack wanted to release his SC but kept being turned down. Like Geoff Johns saidno to SC, bam! Ray calls him a racist. Hamada assumes controm of DC and says no to the SC, bam! Ray calls him a racist. And all this despite both of them being in completely different departments when the supposed racism happened, Hamada didnt even have anything to do with DC until 2018, a whole year after Ray was supposedly discriminated against.
And then he has repeatedly defended his very demonstrably toxic fanbase using the fact that they raised funds for charity as an excuse to exempt them from any sort of criticism.

My biggest issue with Zack Snyder is his filming philosophy. From Watchmen, it's clear to see that he loves praising Cynicism & portrayed Ozymandias as a hero. In Man of Steel, he made Superman a reluctant hero & a reactionary character in BvS. Honestly, his negative impact on the general audience's impression of Superman is headache-inducing.
Snyder is one of the worst directors of all time.
Why ? It's not just because he sucks at making DC comics alive and he can't tell a story. It's not just because his visuals have perfume advertisement aesthetics, not because his characters think like 5 year olds.
Those are all true.
However it's worse: it's because Snyder is a conservative moron who showcases conservative "values": muscles, guns, white aryan superiority, religious fundamentalism, ridiculous patriotism, etc. Snyder sucked right from the onset in "300", which is the most conservative and outright racist, sexist, anti-LGBT piece of propaganda Hollywood has produced in decades, where the enemy (the Persians aka Iranians) are blatantly dehumanized and just cannon fodder, where the fascist Spartans are glorified and quote the fucking Bible (yes, I'm not joking), where the enemies are either effeminized or painted as gay. That's why the conservatives and the alt-right love it so much. That's why the Bush administration loved it so much.
THAT's why his "heros" are all fucked up: they reflect who he is. And that's why he really sucks.
He hasn't made even ONE good movie. He sucks, and not in a funny way.
"Portrayed ozymandias as hero" Wrong, he portrayed him as plain simple villain (by excluding that ending scene with Dr Manhattan)
What he did was portray rorschach as the hero (well yes he did imbue the flaws of the character, but nearly every panel of him in the book was meant to make him look pathetic, notably his reply to Laurie on The Comedian's rαpe case)
the reason why 300 and watchmen were good, was because they were very faithful adaptations of their source material. Snyder didn't re-write the script
I agree with this entirely, the writing is just bad. Take Army of the Dead, I loved it's premise that it was basically a heist movie set in a zombie apocalypse and could have been done pretty well, but then I hated the convolution betrayal set up, zombies having brains to organize themselves and by the end it cheats you of what you expected to watch and not in a satisfying or great way.
How could people love snyder but hate on Lucas at the same time.
I think i know why, back in the day a lot of people hated man of stell or BVS but when the big bad company ( aka warner) said that he will not continue his movie; Somehow everybody wanted that he made his version ( or at least the version that warner allow him to make) becaus this time it was not just about the movie, its was a fight between the artist and the industry, and guess who the fan chose.

Yeah he was the golden boy of the industry for like 3 years bc he was seen as this mythical figure of an artist defeating the evil multimillion dollar company, I can't fathom another reason why ZSJL would get 80% and AOTD a 75% on RT at launch date. 300 was good, Dawn of the Dead pretty good, Watchmen almost great. Everything else was unwatchable trash.

I think Snyder’s visuals are fantastic but the writing is where the movies fall short. Rebel Moon was the final nail in the coffin for me, I haven’t even seen Part 2 yet. I like a lot of his movies, and heck, even love some but after Rebel Moon I genuinely lost so much faith in him. Not just because of the film’s quality, but because of the idea of making a movie then artificially forming a directors cut rather than just trying to focus on making the best movie from the get-go.
Netflix and Snyder just want to milk his rabid fans for another hyped up, viral Snyder cut campaign and those morons will probably oblige. He's only got the green light from Netflix because the guy who runs their movie studio is the guy who gave Snyder his start with Dawn of The Dead. He can't go work for Apple because they don't want his ass, especially now that he doesn't have access to the good cinematographers and stunt teams he did while working for WB. And it shows in his last two movies, they look awful and the fight scenes are terrible.

I like Snyder's visuals, and he knows how to ADAPT a comic book story to the screen, Watchmen is an example of this, however, I wouldn't let Zack Snyder anywhere near the writers' room, I want him tens of miles away from any script, he doesn't know how to write a story, and here comes the problem, Zack Snyder not knowing how to write a story wouldn't be a problem if he focused on what he's really good at (visuals and ideas), and leave the writing to someone capable, but he doesn't do that, he wants to do it his way and the result, well, is visible to everyone.
Zack Snyder would be much more successful if he focused on what he's really good at and left the things he's not good at for other people to do. Again this is not a weakness, in the same way that he doesn't know how to write, the screenwriter doesn't know how to create visuals, just focus on what you're good at and do your best.
I feel like his talent is wasted on bad stories, and the only person he has to blame is himself.

None of this is new, people should have known this from the beginning
Snyder while not horrible like some think, is mostly style over substance, which is what I feel Nolan alludes to when he puts so much praise on ZS, his style is absolutely gorgeous and I feel would work with some superhero characters mainly that of Superman and Wonder Woman, this ‘Gods amongst men’ trope he went with in DC. But time and time and again it looks awe inspiring but the story falls flat, I genuinely enjoyed Man of Steel and it’s probably a Top 10 Superhero movie of all time for me, but other than than all his DC movies fell flat and just didn’t feel right overall. I think Gunn, while nothing close to a home run, especially in an age where I feel we genuinely are getting into a “superhero fatigue” mindset but if anyone can add the right amount of color and twist into rather stale superhero’s outside of Batman, it’ll be Gunn who can do it. I have way more faith in Gunn than I do Zack Snyder. Again he did some good, I think Cavill is the best Superman of all time, but Gunn has my faith for now absolutely.

I can't stand Snyder's films at all. To be fair to myself, I watched his WATCHMEN 'adaptation' and I liked it... until I bought the miniseries and, the more I read it, the more I realized he cared more about idolizing moralless bastards than tge core of the main story. And please don't make me talk about his henious take on DC. Even works of his own are abysmal, like SUCKER PUNCH.

I enjoyed dawn of the dead, very enjoyable film that was really helped by it's premise, characters were very forgettable and were just the classic zombie tropes but the set pieces and everything else made up for it and I guess that is the very definition of a Snyder film

Every director has some guidelines which inadvertently make the movie better. Snyder really has the I'm him complex.
Zack is not "passion" like Anthony Hopkins for his craft. Snyder is passion more like "Graphic design is my passion"
I'm not gonna lie I don't agree with a lot of your points. For example a directors cut and theatrical cut shouldn't be blamed on the director but the studio netflix is clearly using zack snyders directors cut of rebel moon as a marketing strategy and its backfiring on them but the problem is I think that the movie actually will be good when the directors cut drops just like how Batman v superman was a good movie in its directors cut. Speaking of Batman V Superman if you watched the directors cut the story wasn't very convoluted lex hated superman for being a God among men Batman saw the damage superman did and he knew if superman ever went bad there would be nothing humanity could do to stop him and then lex was manipulating both of them to fight eachother. his plan goes sideways Batman sees the humanity in superman and then lex falls back on Supermans ship to make Doomsday its not a convoluted story and pretty easy to sum up the most confusing part is the whole dream sequence but it was mostly just a fight scene so it can still pass. I think your most valid take is Snyder as a writer by no means do I think hes a bad writer but I think hes much better at Ideas then characters which is why I love movies like Man of Steel BvS ultimate cut and the Snyder Cut because he was the person who had the vision for the films but then had a writer with him to help make those characters who they were. I can respect your opinion though.

I haven't watched much of his films mainly Snyder Cut and MOS are the only Snyder films. But although I haven't watched much of his films feel like I've seen stuff involving his films so much at when a review comes out and is like the Rebel Moon review I'm like that sounds a bit right for a Snyder film. He has fans which I can see how although it's a bit hard to see how I just ain't one of them.

Zack Snyder has made some good films like Man of Steel, ZSJL, Watchmen (I didn’t like BVS either versions) & 300
He’s great at making visuals look astonishing and appealing
I wouldn’t say he’s a bad at making creative decisions, he’s had great ideas for his film, but the execution of those ideas doesn’t pay off.
Eg The infamous Martha scene in BVS, I think Snyder had a good idea for Batman to reform and realise he’s gone too far by killing superman and then he realises Clark has a mother like he once had.
The execution however was very disappointing, Snyder made it seem like Supes and Bats became friends because their mothers had the same name which is one of the reasons why that scene was mocked and made into a meme back then.

Different actors, writers & actors have always contributes differently with different versions Superman and Batman in the past, so why is this any different?

First, Zack Snyder didn't write Mos and Bvs. the only movies that he wrote for DCEU are Wonder Woman and his Justice league. Second, imagine if Marvel movies or stars wars movies were R_rated, would these movies going to have these fans that they have right now? of course not. Netflix made him make director's cut of Rebel Moon(which probably going to fix %80 of the problems that the PG_13 cut had)
Another thing that bothers me is that I'm sure that if the movies that he directed were directed by another
director like Dennis or Christopher Nolan, they would't get so much hate that these movies get nowadays.
You all probably remember the scene from Infinity war where Star Lord punches Thanos, this scene is even dumber than the Martha, but you don't see anyone talking about, why?, because it's not directed by Zack Snyder.

Plus, Rebel Moon did not flop. Rebel Moon is a Netflix film so it wasn't releasing on theaters, it went straight to streaming service which it had at least 100 million viewers.
Another plus, that's the problem with his haters which make them more stupid than his bots. When his movies are good they give credit to the writer, but when they think it's bad they blame him.

I have only seen parts of this movie but from what I have seen the main protagonists represent the three parts or levels of the human mind: the Ego would be Sweet Pea, the Super Ego would be the Wiseman and the Id would be Babydoll. SP would actually be an inner adventure of the soul, a journey of the psyche, one with a happy ending despite all appearances, as the "real person", the protagonist, the Ego, has finally reached freedom after having domesticated his o her It through try and error. Her future opens up wide to her as the bus carrying her advances in.
