Here she is to break down what you need to know about the Jewish holiday, Rosh Hashanah.
So what is Rosh Hashanah? Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish new year and is a fall holiday that kicks off the High Holiday period for Jews. It is both a time of rejoicing and of serious introspection, a time to celebrate the completion of another year while also taking stock of one’s life.

Excellent video! I wish everybody could view their religion the way Mayim does. Being serious about it concerning the things that are important to you, but at the same time allowing other people to do things their way. And having no problem being a scientist and a believer. For me, being Jewish isn't religious, it's cultural and I want to honor some of the traditions of my people and family. I feel it's my small way of acknowledging the hardships and journeys of those who came before me and allowed me to be who I am today. This was a terrific video!

It's cool how much Judaism bleeds into Christianity. Considering that the latter was born of the former, it makes sense. I know super-conservative Christians who really, truly believe the earth is only 6,000 years old. Heck, I was taught as that as fact growing up. We also have a "Book of Life."

You really know what to do with the shofar but how do you handle it since it is a horn? Do you have a vegan version?
Fun fact, passover should have been our rosh ha shana because tishrey is the seventh month but because it contains two major holidays (yom kipur and sucot) vs nisan that contains only passover, rosh ha shana mooved.
Another thing, the book of life doesn't close in yom kipur bur in the end of sucot because god doesn't sure about everyone by yom kipur.

Ive been watching your shows. And thought you mite be interested in helping women in south africa. Im one of these women I and a couple of women are brought up in childrens home there for have no family and got married to bad man and left abused financially physically and emotionally. The courts are being paid to assist them and to let papers disappear. Every time try to get income they make sure you cant by stalking you to have no other options but to change location and media etc. I tried online but my country isn't supported and gofundme same story.

I love tongue. The back is not the tastiest, but the front is the best. Of course, you have to pickle it the right way. A regular boiled tongue is not as good. Find a deli near you when lockdown ends and try some tongue with a shmear of mustard.

Who are you to disrespect Jewish Culture? Are you even Jewish? Do you even eat Kosher? Who is your Rabbi? I do eat Kosher - Biblically Kosher. I know what Jews think of me. I'm of mixed race, so I'm over it. However, Mayim is a different story. She is pure blood and true. Just because Mayim blew the Shofar as a female does not mean, she disrespected Jewish culture. HaShem never said anywhere in the Torah - "Moshe say to the people that women should be treated like second class citizens, banned from blowing shofars, and banned from learning about me and the Torah to the extent men learn about me. As men worshipping Rabbinical law and attending Shul, brings all the family into Shevarim." No, the Tanakh does not say that anywhere. Just because she decided that the Vegan diet that Adam and Eve used to be on, is best for her and her family, does not give you the rights to claim she disrespected Jewish Culture. Just because she tells how those who aren't traditional Jews celebrate Rosh Hashanah does not mean she disrespected Jewish culture. Adam and Eve disrespected Jewish culture a long time ago, when they disobeyed HaShem and fortook of the forbidden fruit. Furthermore, if you were to go to Yisrael and have a divine appointment with a Rabbi from Kotel who may no longer do services at Kotel - the Rabbi who was very close to a certain Rabbi, blessed be his righteous memory - you would be shocked at what you learned! That Rabbi was shocked and so was the Rabbi who unfortunately, passed on.
