Thanks for these great videos. Sorry a naive question are there any maximum sessions a week a doctor has to follow by law? And if you locum, are there a set maximum number of hours a week one can do?

@@DrPBaptiste Yes, the economics of partnership,is it profitable, conditions of success. Is there an opportunity being a partner in several surgeries? And if you don't mind some information on limited companies. I know this is too much, but I am certain that you support trainees in every way. Many thanks in advance.
Doctor I m from India and I m final year medical student searching about different specialities and i really find GP very interesting field where you can serve the community but I do hv responsibilities towards my family so money is also imp for me . Hope u understand
Oh yes of course! Check out the playlist I have on money-ua-cam.com/play/PLuuUB2zS7neceLkn6MeiBadl1q2jnIPuP.html I hope you are ok in India at the moment! Stay safe!
Say you become a GpwSI how do you implement that in your normal working schedule?is it something you can do exclusively or is it a side hustle kind of thing? thanks
Great video. Recently found your channel and trying to go through them all. They are really informative. I’m trying to find out more on how one can become a GPwSi in cardiology, and the different things you can do, and if there is even a demand for it. Would you have any insight to this? Or would you be able to suggest how I could find out more about it please?
Hi!! Thanks so much! How did you come across my channel out of interest? You should be able to find out about it online when researching the diploma. Yes there is a demand for it, and I am working on a video about this so stay tuned! You can always try contacting doctors via places such as LinkedIn. Hope that helps. If I have any more information I will be sure to let you know!
@@DrPBaptiste thanks for replying to my question. Much appreciated. I will try reaching out to others on LinkedIn. I found your channel while researching about how GP practices generate income. I’m a GPST1 trainee, about to go into my second year and into my first GP placement. I started realising, although my training consists of clinical exposure, I have know nothing in regards to how a GP practice is run. I would like to become a partner one day, and so I thought I should start learning about the practical business side of GP land, and so when it comes time after CCT I would have more of a competitive advantage and a deeper understating of business behind GP. Anyways, one of your videos showed up on my feed while researching and since then I’ve been hooked. Lol
@@yogeshgondalia5676 no worries! Sounds like a good idea! Glad I've been able to help as when I was a trainee I also realised the same thing! Please share to your colleagues!
Loving your videos, very useful information. When you said 9.5-12k pounds per session, do you mean that's the cumulative pay per month, year or is that daily?
You multiply the amount per session by the total number of sessions per week to get the annual salary. I explain more in this video - ua-cam.com/video/lfsvzW2AJ3U/v-deo.html
Does anything like gp with special interest in surgery exist? I have 8 years of experience in general surgery, performing circumcisions, vasectomies, endoscopies, minor ops etc. I have done MRCS. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks
Hi! Thanks for watching! Some GPs do minor ops - www.aspc-uk.net/ You can become a gpwsi in gastroenterology too - www.pcsg.org.uk/become-an-endoscopist/ Hope that helps!
Hi thanks for watching and for your comment! I wouldn't say they earn the most but I would say that depending on what you do there is a potential to earn a lot and earlier on in your career. However remember there's more to consider than just the money side. I'll be doing another video very soon about more pros and cons to GP. Stay tuned!
I did not mention the private sector but I think this is another video! Stay tuned!
