Hi, thanks for the video. I am a big fan of your channel. Can i just ask how hard is it to get a post in kent, surrey and sussex (where im looking to apply to after my F2 training)?
Hi! Awww thank you so much for your comment and support. Glad you enjoy the videos! London is always super competitive relative to other areas in the country. However, if you do well in the exam you stand a very good chance of getting the place you want and remember you can always 'hold' your offer and wait for another option to become available before accepting. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions.
@@DrPBaptiste ok thank you, I read that the competition ratio for Kent, Surrey and Sussex was 1.2 in 2019. So for every 12 applications 10 people get in. Would you say that’s accurate or it’s more tough than that? Thank you
@@talhaaziz8462 Ahh I see, that's very good then! Usually the competition ratios are fairly accurate but they are a guide and you should always aim to do as well as you can to ensure you secure your place. What I would say is that if you do well in the exam there's no reason why you should not get a place in one of those areas. When I was applying most of the people I spoke to got the places they wanted or thereabouts. All the best! Let me know when the results come out!
