    That's cool. Thanks for this vid, Ced. Now we know we can use a sabot and our ammo choices have increased. This is especially cool for muzzle loader shooters coming over to airguns or airgunners who muzzle load. This is a great way to introduce states to airgun hunting that may have been on the fence or who want airgun hunting, but maybe during the muzzle loader season. 2👍🏽's up.!

    I really like the idea of sabots on barrel life, plastic has gotta extend the life.

    Hey Tofaz, I always wondered about shooting black powder rounds through airguns. Thanks for the video.

      BC, yep, these things use Black Powder barrels specially machined down to fit airgun receivers. Same twist rates and all. And I cast .58 cal BP conical bullets that are for muzzle loaders. This things can be as accurate as a regulated small bore air. Of course, you have to use an external regulator...................

    Excellent video and so nice to see a brother of colour making cool videos, I think every other gun/shooting/hunting video I've seen was a dude as lilly white as me. Subscribed and Liked, cheers! P.S. i adore that gun, it's lovely looking and definitely beastly.

    The goal was to hit the lid. . . I did, 😊 classic Cedric. That's a lot of lead down range. 👍🏼

      HAHA, funny when you say it like that🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂 Not gonna lie though, if a gun ain't accurate, ITS TRASH! And we know these airguns are hella expensive!

    Damn bud you got me wanting a “.58”💦💯 I like the Bush Buck too. I wish we could see if any expansion happened with the Barns copper HPs. Lighter, faster, and on a whitetail….could be a winning combo!

      Thanks JP! Dan and XP AIRGUNS have been around for a long time. LOOOOONG! Dan just doesn't advertise or really have anyone pushing his product. Cody Moore on Facebooks also has one and he loves his as much as i love mine. He has also taken big game with his. Just google XP Airguns. Doug Russell of Mad Dog Stocks makes the wood for the XP Rangers btw

    Excellent content. That is a beast of a rifle. Sabots are a viable option for air rifles just like black powder. Thanks for bringing this wonderful option to your channel.

      Thank you DMANN! Glad you liked the video and the gun. She trully is a favorite of mine. A big bore you can plink with. Damn thing sends .58 cal Roundballs out at 880 FPS on 3000 psi (low power)! And they weigh 289 grs😱

    You need make more videos more often , squirrel hunter with good rifles in 30 call , but good rifles like Brocock ghost, Uragun 2 etc. Not the FX mistake .

      Thank you firstly. And all I ask is that you stick with me. I know I'm a little slow at production but, I am a one man show with a lot of job duties. Anywho, I've been looking into those exact guns you've referenced (brocock and Uragan)

    Hi, let me ask you a question. I was trying the same with my rifle and then came across your video. Do you experience having to hammer the lever to load the sabot? I can get it all the way in but it's really tight and does in fact engage the groove. So, my question is, will it fire, is it safe to test fire?

    Good idea! But they don't make sabots for .25's?
    Nooooooooo! My joy is gone. 🥺 😢 😭
    Anyway, will sabots work through a moderator?
    Thanks for the info n video.

    • @Tofazfou
      @Tofazfou  Рік тому +2

      yeah, unfortunately, they do not make SABOTS for small bores. ITS A BIG BORE THING because of muzzleloaders. And no, SABOTS are not recommended for using while usings LDCs/Moderatos. As soon as they are not being squeezed by the barrels bore, the petals grab air and open up and slow down tremendously just like a parachute!

    • @Tofazfou
      @Tofazfou  Рік тому +1

      @@jamesdenny4734 Nah, muzzle loaders use PAPER wads. I wouldn't simply because there is no need to go that far. You would have to figure out the THICKNESS of the paper wad to make it work. But again, with todays available ammo choices, its just not neccessary but, IS POSSIBLE!

    • @Tofazfou
      @Tofazfou  Рік тому

      Good question. No need to test/try it in my opinion. Its possible im sure but not necessary.
