Thanks Dapoun! Yeah, she still doin amazing things! Took her all the way out to 600 and 1000 yrds recently. She does very well at 600 for an airgun.....lol
Excellent content and magnificent shot placement. I enjoy seeing you work the impossible with your air rifle builds. Powder burners are fantastic, but it requires a little extra with an air rifle. More please!🎉
It sure does. Even these high powered airguns are many steps behind powderburners. The ballistics are complete opposite (to a degree). Waaaaay more challenging with airguns that firearms
@@Tofazfou I have a question for you. A few years ago a bought a Texan in .50 cal and I was told that round bullets work better due to subsonic speeds. I see you are using pointed (HP) bullets... My texan is stock with a 3500 psi carbon fiber tank. Bullet molds are hard to get here so asking an expert is my best option, do you recommend them (pointed/HP bullets), on a stock rifle? I've been following you for years, its great to get your greetings.
Love it Ced! That was a shooting exhibition! Well done Man! Love that rig you were using! Holy crap! That baby shoots lights out! I have a Airforce Condor 25 in a Mad Dog stock with a Talon Tunes moderator on it that shoots really well. Nothing even close to what yours does though! So cool Man!
WOW! What a great compliment man! Thank you so much. .25 cal, thats one cal i don't have! Hmmmm, you might have just given me an idea.....lol! Thank you
I call them like I see them Ced. ;-) Yea, my Condor is just stock. No reg or anything. It loves the 33.95 Mk II JSB pellets out to 80 yards or so. If I'm just plinking or hunting in close I'll use those. I run them about 890 fps for around 60 ft lbs. If I want to reach out there, I use the 36.2 NSA's. Pretty much anything out 125 yards is dust, with those slugs! I run those at around 970 fps for 76 ft lbs. I'm sure it could hit stuff farther out, but that's as far as I have taken it. Those slugs will hurt a varmints feelings, at the least. Nothing like your rig though. You have got to love the Airforce platform!
Airforce makes pretty good guns. Lots of folks own them. Namely hunters. At one point, they were top of the list when it came to power. Worth adding one to your collection
@@Tofazfou right now I only have some AEAs in 9mm and an Umarex G30. I love them all but I think it’s time for a high end big game air gun after seeing this video.
Great question. The answer is YES, i have to stay tethered. The guns tank is only 500cc. I'll explain a little further. So, Im tethered to a 90cu ft Carbon Fiber 4500 psi tank via an external regulator. The external regulator adjust from 0-6000 psi input/output. Airguns at this power level do not have CONSISTENT shot counts because of the volume of air they use per shot. And, this airgun or this airgun type (airforce Texan) does not have an internal regulator like say FX, Daystate, Umarex or others. So many of us who own big bores, when plinking, pesting, target shooting long range etc etc etc, we use external regs. So now, say im going on a pig hunt or deer hunt with this rifle. To get a 2-3 consistent shot count, i would fill the gun to about 3800 psi and leave the power setting where it is. This high fill pressure would even out the FPS to allow me multiple consistent shots. But again, this is not a gun built to shoot 50 shots from a fill. No big bore is. They all use waaaay to much air per shot. Unless you use an external regulator
So airforce is still producing unregulated. Air rifles ?? My 357 is so bad you will never get good groups at 100... and having to fill up the gun every 4 shots is a pain in the ass
@@Tofazfou I know, I have a friend who has excellent skills in PCP and in particular in very advanced customization of his own rifles for even professional purposes and who directed me towards your videos after having explained in detail the advantages of the rifles. Air Force. One of the concerns is that few or no sites in France and Europe offer the Air Force brand. I only found it at Krale at a fairly high price compared to the US prices charged. Bringing goods from the United States by purchasing on an American site is unfortunately complicated and risky too. This bothers me a lot... 😟
I was just thinking about this build and re-watched a few videos the other day. glad to see the AirPua is still eating.

Just watched your video for the 2nd time. Enjoyed it even more.👍
Hoooooo YEAH! Thanks for that Raymond!
Lost count every time I hit them hard at 50 yards and they get back in the den. That theres a lotta squirrels on that property.
I know right! That has literally happened to any and all that have hunted ground squirrels
That is an awesome air gun. I have some really good ones but this is making me think I need an air force.

how would i get a barrel change kit for my .457 SS? I would love to get something that doesn't drop at longer distances. thanks.
