- Pokémon Gyms are an integral part of Pokémon, although they have suffered some changes in modern Pokémon games. In Alola, with Pokémon Sun and Moon, and USUM, they completely removed them and in Pokémon Sword and Shield, they gave us a different take on this. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet tried to give us freedom in the Pokémon Open World but all it showed was the need for Pokémon to change. Will we see changes in future Pokémon games? Hopefully! Here's Why Pokémon Gyms NEED TO BE CHANGED! It's time for a Pokémon Discussion!

The graphics bugged in the intro I'm sorry everyone!
I always thought themes should be based on themes and not types like a gym based on music. Another being themed around weather. Experimenting gym themes can also make them memorable
It could be fantastic as well, yes! Something different but still with an individual approach to it!
Honestly the elite 4 should've never been monotype lol it does a terrible job of seperating them from gym leaders, anyways another thing gamefreak could make use of is pre battle effects, imagine a gym that emulates a sand storm in the arena so the gym leader doesnt even have to set it up, or trick room arena etc, gqmefreak has done stuff like this before (red in hgss is always fought with hail and klara sets toxic spikes before battle) so it would be nice if they did it more
It really would! It would be awesome to see them experiment a bit more with the Gyms, since they're already doing it with everything else... Let's wait a few years for Gen10 and see how they do it!

Dual type gym could be cool. Themed ones should even turn out to be even cooler. Like, for instance, a blue colored pokemon team (or whatever colors), or cooking theme team, or horse theme ones and whatnot (you get my point).
Anyway, definitely, gym leaders should be 100% strategic opponents.

I really do believe so as well! Especially since there's even the "type effective thing" on the moves nowadays. There's really no point on that being the "measurement"! Themed teams would be great!
So your proposing we should get more dual type gyms? That could be interesting
Not really just that! Like I say in the video, I think strategy could/should play a bigger role in Gyms, instead of the Monotype approach
When it comes to the gym i feel like there to easy whether it blue or violet i never had to use strategy I just use brute Force
To be fair, growing up, strategy was 100% a word that wasn't part of my gaming vocabulary! 😅
I been Twitter about this and go for a tournament/colosseum/stadium vide no gym put a colosseum of water area for a people who love water type Pokemon you had under water battle or sea battle on the beach and someone tell you were the other colosseum stadium location you have to unlock it find the next gym leader in the city or he she comes to the pokemon center or the school or battle club to to find the next stadium but you have to do request for him before you take them on you have to help the city or your home town because know around the world and you let your pokemon help rebuild your city or home town
pokemon competition like contest have pokemon performance and battle round
You have 2 pathway to be a Pokemon trainer and a new pathway to become a Pokemon entertainer both sides help you rebuild your house town and the big city you pick on the map were you move to in the region your mom or dad tell you have to still go to school but you watch on tv the professor is open a school we you pick to live in a town or city it not other city or town around you in a new region new to the orre regular and the Alola regular
I think contests will never replace Gyms, but they really could offer a different side-hobby for anyone that would like to take it!
