    Dropping condiments completely help tons. I started eating salads without it. You don’t miss it at all after 3 months.

    This was really eye-opening! You get so much more food with the homemade meals. I just bought your cookbook, so I am starting to make some good vegan meals and snacks. 😀

    God bless you Faith! We are on a food budget of like $10 per week (for me and my husband) so we wouldn't run the convience food route ever lol! I however, am looking to make sure we get enough calories and nutrition. All things are possible with God and I know He led me to your video, so thank you for that. We do grow alot of our food and I forage for food as well. My husband is not on a plant based diet, so we have chickens for eggs and meat occasionally, he also enjoys fishing.🎣 But still, $10 per week is a tight budget! This was extremely helpful!

    This was super educational, and these recipes look yummy! Although I have been vegan since November 2018, I still have a little trouble eating enough sometimes.

    Made the muffins; fantastic. For regular size muffin pan it yielded 15 muffins. I added chopped walnuts for an added healthy fat.

    Nice video! I am wondering if that Whole Foods muffin serving size you showed on the nutrition app was supposed to be for a half or a third of the muffin bc it looked like it said serving size 100 grams. That muffin probably weighed more than 400 grams!

      Good thought! Yes, it could have been. I couldn’t find any muffin to input that seemed accurate and that was the most caloric one I could find haha! Should have cut it in half to be more accurate!

    Salt has no calories so how can you call it calorically dense?

    • @TheConscientiousEater
      @TheConscientiousEater  2 роки тому

      Did I say salt was calorie dense?

    • @raosprid
      @raosprid 2 роки тому +1

      @@TheConscientiousEater You said calorically dense foods are high in sugar, sodium and saturated fats. But sodium has no calories and has no role in a food's caloric density. Syrup and olive oil are very calorically dense but lack sodium. And there are calorically dense foods such as flours and alcohols that lack all three of sugar, sodium and saturated fat. Other the other hand, pickled vegetables like sauerkraut and kimchi contain a fair bit of sodium, yet they are rich in nutrients while being low in calories.

    Even though this video was 2 years ago. I wanna remarked and emphasize THAT ALL FAST FOOD AND PROCESSED FOODS EATEN OCCASIONALLY ARE BAD AND TOXIC FOR EVERYONE. IT STAYS IN YOUR GUT AND AFFECTS NEGATIVELY IN YOUR MICROBIOME AND CAUSES INFLAMMATION AND DISEASES. The Rest of the video was on point and thank You For Your Knowledge And showing Me The Calories brake down on a plant based nutrition 🥗🫶🏽
