Bruh im so confused trying to pick something out here. If you go watch the individual reviews for these exact kits, the loudness meter contradicts what she says in this video. With the MAC at a 4, the flowmasters at a 3, and the pypes at a 2. Like wtf am i missing here.
A couple of 40 series Flowmaster mufflers is all you'll need along with a proper H pipe. Had it on my old 98 v6. (Same boat anchor motor) Also going with a 2.5 diameter pipes will loose low end. Mine sounded way better than the one on this vid.
So question, can I put 2 dual pipes lines each 2.5 size in tubing from headers to the end of the tip. On a 2001 v6 mustang is that possible. Or am i have to worried about the back pressurr and lossing power. Im really confused?
So you're talking about a true dual exhaust from the exhaust manifolds back? You can absolutely do that! Plenty of V6 Mustang owners have run dual exhaust systems without any issues, and you'll also see a gain of about 5-10 horsepower in the process. @@americanmuscle But once I change. My car to a dual exhaust piping system 2.5 in size do my engine needs to be modded or do I need a tune up. Or can i just leave stock, normal?
If you leave the stock exhaust manifolds on, the linked system can bolt up no problem and will not require a tune to do so. You definitely get a custom tune if you want to maximize the potential gains from this system, but like I said it is not needed. 😁 -Zach
Just wondering if say using something like after market headers would be good to go with some of these setups. Ive considered doing long tube headers but wasn't sure if any of these would work with say and X pipe or not.
NEED HELP PLEASE! recently bought a 15 ecoboost mustang , casually driving down the road when a wrench icon appeared on my dash and my car wouldnt move unless i gave it enough gas any ideas ? Please help
Hey guys been keeping up with all your vids and finally got my car to start here’s the video if you wanna check it out and thanks AM for the products and support when I didn’t know how to install stuff ua-cam.com/video/G4RJgPKl6wU/v-deo.html
Turn downs are ugly change my mind. Like why would I spend a fortune on a dual tip conversion which has cats just to have some ugly turn downs. Put stainless tips on that crap.
Its currently out of stock, but I would consider looking into something like the following Pypes Dual Exhaust System! True-Dual systems like this will have the highest possible flow when looking aftermarket kits. It'll get you the deepest tone as well! -Zach www.americanmuscle.com/pypes-dual-conversion-turndowns-9404v6.html
Wrong, SN95 is 1994-2004. In 1999, Ford gave the car a mid cycle refresh code named "New Edge." Kind of like the 2018-2019 being a mid cycle refresh, with 2015-2019 being S550.
They're correct. 79-93 are ALL Foxes, regardless of how many styling changes.... Even though an 86 GT looks VERY different from an 87 GT. 94-04 are ALL SN-95, even though the 99-04 Variants are of the "New Edge" BODY Design

This lady really just said sound is one of the most important things to consider for a new exhaust. Correction its the only thing to consider

@@americanmuscle don't wanna be a dick but I think he was making a joke
Performance is a big one for those who like to go fast...or ....do anything really. LOL
sound > performance, its a v6 not a v8
@@dottierpaper9294don't underestimate a V6, there's a bunch out there that will eat V8's for lunch, and come back for more.
V6's also handle better.

I always love watching these video’s to when it comes to picking the right insterment for our beast
CRINGE.
Right!

It sounds like a smaller version of the v8 lol
Dayumm good with cars and cute someone is a winner.
how many jipsies can you kill with 78 Mustang cobra 500. Just asking.
And can we extract their tears after?
I plan on a coyote swap in a few years but this is nice for now
Calm down alex
Honestly I considered coyote swapping mine lol but rather just sell it and buy one with the coyote
it’ll be cheaper to just sell your v6 and and go and buy one with it
The passenger side tailpipe on the Flowmaster Force II was canted outboard a lot. Pypes also, but less. Is this due to installation or kit design?
shows new edge, talks about new edge * puts SN95 in the title*
SN95 technically covers 94-04, New Edge is just another name for the 99+ body. 😉 -Zach
Hi, can the Force II Dual Cat-Back exhaust come with turndown tips?
Sweet vid!
Thanks for watching! -Zach

Every exhaust is better with headers.
I added magnaflow sounds way better and louder
Will any of these fit a '94-'98?
A couple more cylinders will make it sound better
That last one is it fast tho?
Would these still work on a 97
listened this video 3 times, really hard to giudge the sound from that point of view, need also some idle running.
I just put dual exhaust on mine with gt tailpipes.
For me it will just be muffler delete and catless x pipe and this is it
The 3.8 with no muffler sounds like choking a chicken through a megaphone
The V6’s with x-pipes tend to sound like rice rockets. Better t I go with an H-Pipe

Limp mode maybe? Get it scanned
I need test pipes for 2006 v6 mustang
I think the first sounded better
I don't need a conversion I have duals from stock
V6 less air means more gas. run hottest thermostat.

Maybe put the double turn down so you look like an old 1970s Pontiac Trans-Am LMAO
