    You can also program the seat belt chime so it doesn't come on. I forgot the steps, but it should be in the owner's manual (no tools or programmers needed). This is for anyone who wishes to drive without their seal belts on for extended periods of time *at their own risk*.

    • @XanderMeisman
      @XanderMeisman  6 років тому +2

      I never knew that! It's crazy how many little things you can do with these older Fords that a lot of people don't really think about. Mine is already set off so it doesn't go off and make that awful chime anymore.

    When i did the test. The fuel is at 88. Is that bad?

    • @XanderMeisman
      @XanderMeisman  5 років тому

      I'm not sure to be honest. Some of the read outs on the screens we're a little unusual because I couldn't tell what units each one is using for measurements. It could be anything from fuel pressure to lph. I don't have a copy of my manual or I'd try and find it.

    Hi bro, I must to ask you this since my Mustang has the same indicator turned on. Do you know why is the “Service Engine Soon” on? Do I have to worry about? Even when my workshop has told me to not worry about I just can’t do it that easily :/ Thanks if you response!

    • @XanderMeisman
      @XanderMeisman  6 років тому +2

      For mine the engine light is on due to the evap canister vent valve being stuck which doesn’t really hurt anything other than gas mileage and then the light is also on due to either a bad o2 sensor or catalytic converter. Hopefully this helps. Most parts stores will actually scan your car for free if you ask and they can show you what parts are bad.

    • @XanderMeisman
      @XanderMeisman  6 років тому +2

      3ln3n3romantico22 thanks! I personally haven’t removed mine but my only recommendation would be finding out the torque specs for the bolts and the pattern to bolt it back on so that the gasket seals properly.

    • @3ln3n3romantico22
      @3ln3n3romantico22 6 років тому

      Xander Meisman yeah thats easy to findout I guess I have the (Hayness Manual) but the way they explain in the manual are confusing.but yeah the torcq spec would be a important step.

      I believe it deals more with pressure and voltage or something similar but you aren’t able to see the number of gallons remaining which would’ve been a really nice touch if you could lol

      @@XanderMeisman mines at 206,312 right now. Only issue i have is when the car is first starting to accelerate to high way speeds (60-75mph), it jerks and bucks a couple times and then it stops and runs smooth til I shut the car off. If it hasn't been too long, when I get back on the highway it doesn't do it. But if its been like 4 hours, it will again for a second. Honestly still confused on what it would be.

    Your idle is to high . You need a base Idle reset . And click bait ......... Click bait isn’t being creative

    • @XanderMeisman
      @XanderMeisman  6 років тому +3

      Click bait helps small channels get their videos out there since the majority of viewers on UA-cam only watch larger channels so using a flashy thumbnail gets attention. I'm just trying to grow my channel so I can keep making new content for others to enjoy. I also agree that my idle is way too high on that car lol I don't know if it's the cold air intake or what's going on. Hopefully soon I can start working on it again. College has been kicking my ass these past few weeks.

      Connoisseur of Cannabis Cars&Pussy yeah the V6 has a 120 speedometer and the GT and Mach 1 have a 150 speedo. I appreciate the offer but for now I’m going to be leaving the V6 the way it is and focusing on the 5.0 for a while lol
