10,000/- is way too much. Industrial grade Silicone Sealant wouldn't cost more than 200-250 per bottle. Even if you consume 3 bottles of silicone sealant and 2 liters of petrol for washing, the cost of goods wouldn't exceed 1000/-. Removal two wheels, alignment, balancing, metal work and application of sealant, at max, should cost no more than 1000/- making a total cost of 2000/-. So, if a vendor charges anything between 2500-3500/-, it makes sense but charging a whooping 10,000/- is way too much.
Hi, thanks for the information.
I am not sure how well the industrial sealant works on the motorcycle rims. Is it the same thing as way to speed?
Do you know if anyone has used the industrial sealant for tubeless conversion? I would love to hear their feedback.
@@themotorbikevlogs It's the same thing! They are all forms of silicone sealants. Even Fevicol and Asian Paints sells this. I've seen a couple of garages use it here on brand new Himalayans but probably it's too early to call it a success! But they have had no immediate complaints
Guys this is bizznes 😂😂😂 actually it’s nothing but sealant that’s used for application of windshield on cars and trucks which costs 350 to 400rs for a known certified brand for each bottle and , one does not need to rub the rims with sand paper better use products like 3M’s adhesive primer.
it’s just hyped ke this is the way to speed kit then why there is no MRP or instructions for use or packaging shown in anybody’s video?
@@vardanrathi7777 Thanks for the information Vardan. I appreciate it.
@@ravvs1 I agree completely brother.
Perfect information ❤
Thank you brother! ❤

Hello. How are you? Thank you for the message. Say hello to everyone in Chakrata! :)
How's tubless conversion going on as on today?
Hey Pawan. It works very well. Noiseless faced so far. Touchwood. I have been to Ladakh and back and the tyre pressure remained stable. Do consider subscribing if you like the content. Thanks.
Is this legal to get converted into tubeless. As u mentioned in video the RE has not got the approval from government for company fitted tubeless tyre.
Hey Vikas. I doubt it is illegal as Way2Speed is a known brand has been around for sometime now. Lots of people have got their vehicles converted into tubeless all across India and none have faced any legal issues so far (according to the best of my knowledge). If it was illegal, I'm sure we would have known by now. And, let's say, it becomes illegal in the near future, one always has the option to remove the sealant layer and install the tubes back in.
Regarding the second question, it is the 'Cross Spoke Rim' design patent which took a lot of time for RE to sort out and hence the delay. I think they are gonna roll out the tubeless rims very soon, but they gonna cost a lot.

Ye mechanic bohot famous hai , mene isko 5-6 UA-camrs ke video me dekh liya hai 😂😂
Yes. He is one of the best and all big moto vloggers goto him.
@@themotorbikevlogs hmm mene ye bhi suna hai ki delhi and NCR ke lgbhag sari himalayan isne hi tubeless ki hai 😅
Don't let punctures punctrure your biking thrill. Very useful video. Keep it up!!💐
Thank you so much!
I have a query can't we use formula x tyre sealant gel instead ?
Hello Vikram. I used formula X gel on my Scram 411. Didnt work when I had a puncture. Formula X works on very tiny punctures, upto 3mm in size.

I couldn’t understand a word you said mate sorry no English
Dang! I should have added subtitles to the video. Does turning on UA-cam Closed Caption help?
Very informative video sir.

This silicone adhesive used for glass in house interiors, single bottle costs 250rs
Does it work on motorcycle rims? Have you tried it out?
@@themotorbikevlogs yup, there’s already a video on UA-cam for the same. Also the way2speed guys are not mentioning any details about the composition or is it manufactured by them, they just buy these silicone adhesives for 250-300 and remove the wrapper and sell it for 7k
@@RajKumar-gc4jh Wow bro! I never knew! What the company is charging is almost 23 times! That's a rip off!
Well, Fortunately or unfortunately, I got it done and have spent the money.

If at all, I break a spoke, that sealant portion can be cut out, replace the spoke, and re-apply the sealant. Simple! :)

Here in pune labour is 3.5k plus 1k for wheel balancing. Did they do wheel balancing also?
Hey bro. Yea, the balancing and alignment was done the very first day. Kindly consider subscribing if you like my content! Thanks in advance.
Hi, Where in Pune ?
@@themotorbikevlogs did u pay for it?
@@S-R-D7 Yes. I paid for it.
@@themotorbikevlogscan you please tell where in pune you did the tubeless conversation of tyre 😊
How do you tighten the spokes after doing this?
Hey bro. The spokes don't need any fixing frequently. The guys did tell me it can be done. Kindly consider subscribing if you like my content! Thanks in advance.
Hey..so I checked. the spokes are sealed cause of the sealant and will not get loose. Incase they break, we can take the spokes out by removing a portion of the sealant and re-applying it. Do subscribe if you like the content. Thanks.
Can we convert scram 411

Most crap mod for 3.5 lakh worth bike 😢
Hi, most riders are going for it. :)
@@themotorbikevlogs Been there, done that before two years back
@@ridinghightidesindia6847 Its not successful?
@@themotorbikevlogs it was untill you don't opt for rigorous off road trails rides, for highway cruising it's fine but again you can't weight balance your wheels or true your rims post application. All these technicians who are installing this rubbish formula just misguiding customers
@@ridinghightidesindia6847 Thank you so much for the insight. I had no clue. Let's see how the conversion works for my motorcycle. Kindly consider subscribing if you like my content. Thanks in advance! :)
Is this the same stock tyre that ate been used after this convertion?
Yes brother. Since the Himalayan comes with tubeless tyres..But they have to put a tube cause of the spoke rims.
very bad. shouldn't have done that
Any reason for shouldn't have done that?
please tell me?
People have ridden of a year without any problems.
Why not brother? How is it bad?
@@themotorbikevlogs I have seen alloy wheels got band on off roading. no, they are not from any local manufacturer. i have seen that happened to even ktm adventure that baidik chattarjee (a motovlogger with same name) rides. and also have seen some greek riders got the same problem on there ride. spokes are good for adventure, off roading. they are the best thats why RE dint change them on alloy on adventure bikes. carry motul insta puncture repair spray and i do the same. it helps
@@SeventhDoorOpen Hey, you see we didnt remove the spokes at all. The integrity of a spoke rim is intact. It is as solid as it was before. I agree the alloys do get damaged or bent while off roading. We just took care of the tube inside the wheel. :) DO subscribe if you like the content. Thanks.
