@JustIn credible Wrong. The M4 does not have full automatic capability. It only features a semi-automatic and 3RB fire control group. Only the M4A1 and M27 IAR(H&K416) have it. And it WAS an LMG. The M240C to be exact. Very noticeable by the sound and ROF. If you been around these specific Firearms long enough, you know what is what.

I think he was telling the group to the right to not fire unless they had targets. MG gunner's job is normally to fire and suppress the enemy, not provide accurate fire, just keep their heads down.

I fired one of these at a range for a friends bachelor party and the force from it cracked my tooth. The tooth had a pretty serious internal cavity so it was already weak but still, I’ll never forget that feeling.

Marsoc snipers are cool, bumped into one at a train station, and we walked into a bar that was full of a Marine weapons company. He proceeded to buy shots for everybody. He was in NY awaiting medical discharge cause he got blown up, about 70 percent disabled. Still very positive, telling us war stories about with other operators.
