I got female friends but the thing is none of them are close friends. We see each other around but I rarely hang out with them. The friends I hang out with that I’m close to are guys.
Me being single and young, yeah, I desire a woman, but I don’t want it at the expense of my friendships with my female friends, which is why I always keep them at a distance. It’s tough being friends with a woman without a desire to possibly be more then that.

is this true??? because when my male friend who usually used to always come to me for advise about his crush literally told me he will cut contact with me after he proposed to his crush and she said yes. he said because now he has a new person in his life. i was really hurt cause he was the only friend i had at that time and it didnt make sense to me. it doesnt make sense to this day

I have female friends I had a sibling dynamic with. Once they got married our contact declined but I can still talk to them about how their life is going and so on. The conversation is shorter than it would be before they were married but we still just treat each other as people. I know and respect their husbands. I think it’s because once we set forward the sibling dynamic that’s more or less where we kept it.
