I used to think I saw the silhouette of the grim reaper whenever I spent the night at my grandma’s house but it stopped it only happened at HER house, I was so scared to go to sleep because I was 11.
Edit; I really terrifying story, I used to have this wall cabinet in my room (it was pretty old) and whenever I left the cabinet door open I would have TERRIBLE nightmares and wouldn’t be able to sleep the rest of the night.
For next month you should do a video on ONLY Joey stories because just imagine the tea on that one

Last night I was trying to get to sleep and I heard someone hysterically laughing on the floor below, it sounded like my dad. Someone got up and walked around but I didn’t hear it go back into a room. The next morning I asked my dad if he had been laughing last night at 11, but he said that he was asleep by then. I asked everyone in my house but they had all been asleep by that time.

My mom used to work at a hotel. She was tending the front desk round 11:00 pm. She left her phone on the desk the whole time. When she got home, she was exhausted and wanted to relax, so she decided to check her phone. Something had downloaded...it was a black and white picture of a man! The picture looked like it was from the 1950s. She showed it to me the next morning and she said she didn't download it. It just appeared. I laughed and said 'maybe its a ghost.' she rolled her eyes. She left the picture on her phone. 3 days later she showed my dad and the picture changed. The man in it looked a little rotted almost. Like a zombie? It was so weird and we couldn't come up with an explanation. So she deleted and we never spoke of it again. I wish I knew who the man was!

At school, we had this big heavy door. It would occasionally quickly open and slam hard without any reason and the school doors were always left closed so it definitely wasn't the wind.

Once when I was in 5th grade my class took a field trip to general Vallejo's house from the mid 1800's. Right before I walked inside to look around I immediately felt this horrible sinking feeling in my gut that was saying to stay out. I ignored it and went inside. I only stayed in the doorway because it just didn't feel right. After everyone went upstairs to look kids started running down saying there was a ghost in one of the rooms. The door was only open a crack but it was completely dark inside so I don't know if it was true. I only felt weird inside the house and in the doorway but that just made it worse. I don't really know if the ghost part is true because it was 5th graders saying it but I feel like that is a big coincidence. I also felt immediately fine the second I walked outside.

If the house is on a hill, sometimes the back of the basement will be ground level and even have a door. Sometimes even, if the bill is super steep or if some of the ground was dug out, the basement might have a deck

When I was about 6 I was sitting at home alone in my bedroom watching my little pony when I heard footsteps upstairs and I’m not kidding IT WAS FOOTSTEPS it was so clear, I called my mom just to talk to her while I went upstairs to check in case it was thieves, as soon as I got upstairs there was a light blue ish figure that looked like a human and when it saw me it disappeared, I started crying and ran downstairs and my mom never understood what happened, I live in the same house to this day

1.My mom owns loads of dolls
2. My mom feels spirits of ppl who have died that loved each other (my mom and her grandma, very close, ect.)
3. A ghost talking to her using a ghost app at night
4. Things flying across rooms
THESE ARE ALL THINGS MY MOM HAS EXPERIENCED IN OUR CURRENT HOUSE!!! My mom and I are convinced its haunted but no bad ghosts have done anything.
5. Sometimes going up to my room which is on the 3rd floor, kind of acts like an attic, when im up there alone i see/feel things then i am just super paranoid

Every time I go to my nans house I get such a weird vibe from upstairs. Once I was sleeping round and I hear little kids laughing so I call for my nab and she couldn't hear it
I know I'm late to the party, but the one with the old man in the window reminded me of this I want to say it was a dream because the alternative is definitely more creepy I had experienced 22 years ago.
Backstory: I was 7 and was vaguely aware of most of my grandparents's friends. This one couple lived pretty close to my grandparents's house so we were closer to them than really any of my grandparents's other friends (well the wife more than the husband). The wife would often come to my grandparents's house and we would go with her and my grandma shopping at the mall. And sometimes when we would go to their house, I would see the husband. In my 7 years, I maybe only saw him like 3 or 4 times. Enough to know what he looked like, but not enough to really know him.
Well onto the dream or creepy real life moment (still not sure): I opened the curtains to my bedroom window in the middle of the night and saw the husband just walking around on our garage roof. He was pale and frail looking. I knew it couldn't really be him though because he lived about an hour drive away from us and he didn't drive and never had in his life and also why walk on my garage roof? I can't remember what happened after that, but when I woke up the next morning, we got a call from my grandma saying that the husband died that night. So either it was a really oddly timed dream or I really did randomly open my curtains and saw his ghost just chilling on my garage roof. No explanation for either option.

A few months ago, I was fast asleep in my bed, in the middle of the night and I felt someone breathe in my ear. Like, lean on me and breathe in my ear. I woke up and no one was there. A few nights later, I was again fast asleep and I heard two voices shouting, "Get down! Get down!" And my hand was touched. It freaked me the heck out. I haven't heard anything for a few months

Some basements have full windows if they live on a hill or there is a back patio to look out to:)

About 4 years ago, my great aunt and uncle moved into my grandparents house because my great uncle (lets call him lee) was needing more help than my great aunt could give him. The day they moved in, Lee claimed that in 2 years, he would move out of the house. Long story short, exactly 2 years later, Lee died.

I had a teaching assistant at school who used to be a nurse. One night she was working the night shift and was on her own at the reception. The hospital she worked in was REALLY old. Like, a couple hundred years old. Anyways, she was doing stuff at the reception and she saw this doctor in a red coat go into one of the patient areas. She went up to go an tell him that he wasn't allowed in there and he was no where to be seen. She later found out that doctors used to wear red coats in the 16-17 (ish) hundreds. Safe to say that she pegged it out of there and started working at my school.
When my parents were looking at houses, my mom got weird vibes in this one house.
Turns out the previous owner murdered his wife, son, and himself inside of there.
I really thought about the first story to much and started to cry, idk why.😓😭😅😲

i literally have no idea if this is creepy or normal, but in june a couple months ago i woke up feeling really really dizzy an lightheaded. i went to school and everything and when i got home, my mum told me to go to my nans. i got there and my nan was literally red eyed and tear stained. my mum told me one of my uncles had passed, and i just stared at her and literally felt like i was going to faint. maybe this is normal, idk, but that was one of the scariest moments of my life..
