If my story isn't #1 I don't know what is. In 3rd-5th grade I had a toxic friend group. At first they keep pranking me pretending to ignore me and everything they told me it was a prank I didn't think much of it and forgave them. Then I decided to do the same prank back because why not. When I did it they got all mad told the teacher and told me If I left them I would be alone my whole life and not find any other friends. One of them i had her phone number and she would keep texting me at first just pretending to be her mom and saying I am a horrible friend and not to hang out with her anymore. Then she eventually took it too far and again pretended to be her mom but this time said she unalived herself because of me. I was having a mini panic attack thinking I was the worst person ever just to see her at school completely fine the next day and she was like oh yeah it was a prank GIRL NO that is not something to joke about I don't even know how she thought of these "pranks" we were like 9 or 10 and in 3rd grade. I just keep forgiving them all those years then I finally after that decided to leave them I would rather have no friends then be in a toxic group.
Yes! She took it way to far, that is not something to joke about even if you think its gonna be a "funny prank". I bet you can find way better friends then them! Ill even be your friend even though we completely don't know each other but im willing to be your friend if you don't got any but trust me! There's a billion people in this world that would be lucky to be your friend >3
Random story. In 7th grade, I moved into high school with my best friend. We met a few others that were really nice. Until one girl joined, and she wasn’t so nice. Once she took out my period products and started throwing them to the boys, making fun of me for HAVING a period. Then, she and my best friend decided to try to light my hair on fire, while I was in a VR game (they failed, luckily). In the end, I told them I’d had enough and left.
for the entire 10 years that I was friends with this person, she would go behind my back without me knowing and tell the other kids in my class secrets that I told her. she would also go around and say that I am not a good person and that she doesn't know why she is still friends with me. I wasn't aware of this until our senior year of high school. although we stopped being friends our junior year after she went around and told everyone that I ghosted her during covid. this isn't true because she never made an effort to talk to me and didn't answer any of my texts when I texted her, so I stopped trying to talk to her.
This is actually still current. My friend and I have been friends for about 6-7 years by now I believe, and we started to get closer recently. I never really got 'good vibes' from her when I was around her, and I should've trusted myself telling myself not to get too close to her thinking about it. I am a lesbian, and I came out to her and my other friend as lesbian at the same time. My other friend, who was already openly gay with us I believe, was like "cool" she may have actually came out to us the same day, I don't remember exactly. However, my friend I've known for 6-7 years started to make a huge deal about it. I told her I did not feel comfortable about her bringing up my sexuality in about every conversation, and she doesn't stop. I let her know multiple times that if I don't bring up my sexuality, then I'm most likely not comfortable with speaking about it at the time. So at the time, she just didn't respect my boundaries. She came out to some of my friends or just introduced me to random people as gay and as I said, I told her I wasn't comfortable with that. I have fairly homophobic parents as well, and she is aware of that. She tried to bring up the fact of me being homosexual to my parents or have a conversation about homosexuality to "see their views". When she tried to talk about me being homosexual with my parents around she clearly could've noticed I was uncomfortable. Also, at the time when she suggested having a conversation about homosexuality with my parents I had to try to convince her not to multiple times. I ended up having a panic attack over that because I am not letting my friend possibly come out to my parents or disturb them when she knows their opinion already. Thankfully, several months before I met a person who I am convinced cares about me more than almost everything, or everything, and she was there to help convince her to stop and comfort me. That person helped me distance myself from my toxic friend, and I started to feel bad at first because now all of a sudden she has one friend that casually hangs out with her and many people already dislike her or her boyfriend (who may have done some things wrong, but accidents happen and I understand but I believe he wasn't trying to hurt anyone, so I don't have a problem with him). Later she tried to guilt trip me about hanging out with another person more than her, which messed with my self-esteem a bit. But now that I have distanced myself from her I feel better, and when we would hang out often in a group of three, I was usually ignored and talked over. We still talk and I think our situation has gotten better but I sometimes still feel bad for ignoring her messages even though she has already hurt me and I don't want to be with her. I would say my biggest flaw is being too loyal and too considerate of people. Thankfully, I do have this one friend that I trust will always be with me or never turn her back on me, we've made it clear that we love each other, respect each other, and trust each other, and I'm really glad I met someone let that who actually has a reasonable mind like mine.
Sorry for this long vent, but whoever and no matter who you are I hope you have a great day and know you deserve the best. I'm probably gonna start writing in a journal now lol

Somebody like that doesn't deserve to have a friend like you. Also, when you mentioned often being talked over when hanging out in a group of three, there's a type of person who doesn't treat people very nicely in groups of three, if that makes sense.
For example, I used to have a close friendship trio with me, my ex best friend and my old friend. The other two often made jokes about me right to my face and were much nicer to each other. The old friend genuinely seems like a nice person but idk he isn't my friend anymore because of a separate reason, and they sometimes would ignore me in conversations. I always felt left out when hanging out with them and they gave me reason to eg excluding me from conversations. My ex best friend did this thing where she posted "Hanging out with *my old friends name* but no mention of me and it upset me but she responded with "Oh well people already know we're hanging out." How would they even know?
That was meant to be a short example maybe I should start writing a journal too-

I was friends with this girl for 7 years and when middle school started she started ignoring me and the rest of our friend group. Then she started spreading rumors about me saying that I was bullying her and the rest of my friend group believed her expert for my one friend. She eventually told us that she was going to change schools so we had a little going away party for her. She never showed up and hasn’t talked to us since.

I have this 'friend' at school who guilted me into thinking that she wouldn't survive without me, I am slowly going away from her and hanging out with others but she always follows me around and trys to make it so I can't hang out with others
Part 1: In 7th grade I was friends with the “popular girls” (although I didn’t realize it at the time.) Everyday at lunch we would sit together and play some sort of game. One day we were playing 8 ball and I couldn’t find the text message for it so I asked one of them where it was. She told me it was in the group chat. I looked in both group chats and there hadn’t been a text in either for weeks. I soon came to realize that I was not in the group chat at all and they had been ignoring me and slowly cutting me off even though all I’d ever done was be nice to them.
Part 2: This year (9th grade) I would always sit with some friends from middle school (no, not the same girls) in the mornings. One day one of the girls was talking about a group chat and going to the movies (can you see where this is going?) I wasn’t in the group chat and they were also slowly cutting me off and not even in private but right in front of my face, IN PERSON.
I seriously don’t know how I always end up with the wrong friends! I have made a commitment to myself that if I ever feel left out or excluded in a group again then I will immediately leave instead of sticking around to please them while hurting myself. Now I’ve got some serious trust issues.
I've had plenty of bad friends over the years as well. I chose very very bad friends and they were a bad influence on me and they all left me for the stupidest reason. I feel like no one is ever on my side because of some mental problems

I had a crush, and I found out on Valentine’s Day he liked me back. So we exchanged numbers and we talked everyday over text. But we are both really shy people so we rarely talked in person. His best friend and my best friend were dating. Over the summer I was hanging out with that friend at her house and right after I leave I get a text and apparently he wanted to Break up with me. I was sooo confused bc WE WERENT EVEN DATING!!! And I call my friend to tell her what happened and she was crying. I asked what was wrong and she said her boyfriend broke up with her. And they both sent us the texts at THE SAME TIME, ON THE SAME DAY, AND SAID THE SAME EXACT THING!! This was right before school started and apparently last school year he told everyone we were dating…
I guess I dodged a bullet there 🤷♀️
This video makes me grateful that I only have a few close friends that aren't dramatic or anything. So I don't have much drama going on in my life.
i was just reminded of my REAL friend today. it was career day and he had like an apron from this restaurant and like a thing to take orders on. anyway, i was talking to my friend group about how i need to retake a test and how i spent like at least 5 hours of homework in the last 2 days and i was really stressed out from all the homework. i told him to write me a check to just do better as a joke. he wrote something down, folded it in half and gave it to me. i read it and it said: your doing fine. it almost brought me to tears because i just really needed to be reminded that it was gonna be ok. i didn't cry but i definitely felt like it. i told him later thank you but you didn't charge me. we made eye contact and i think he knew i meant thank your for reminding me. idk what i would do without that friend group and just that friend to remind me of my self worth. that friend has always been there for me when i went through a really toxic friendship and even when im laughing i think he knows how i really feel but just goes along with it. (were just friends and have made that very clear without having to say anything)

I’m from country victoria, Australia so I’ve found that going with friends by train into the city for the day is the best way to test if a friendship is sustainable or straight for the compost bin lol. I once met one of my friends at the train station and she did tell me via text that she invited another friend to come with us as well but wanted to keep it a secret. (Where from different schools so I didn’t have a clue who it was) until they showed up at the train station and it turned out to be someone my friend knows I don’t like much (witch is why she kept it a secret of course 🙄) anyways for the entire day I literally felt like a third wheel around Melbourne. I was so mad because I was the one who made plans with her in the first place.
Story 2: (different now ex friend)
In year 7 my whole toxic friend group witch I didn’t know was toxic at the time convinced me that this guy liked me. So I wasted so much time being nervous around him for literally no reason it was embarrassing because the last day of school my crush started flirting with my ex friend right in front of my face. Let’s just say I’m in year 11 now and I got new friends and a new crush. Lol

So I had a very close friend, let's call her A. She figured I'd liked her and after a sleepover, came to the conclusion she was right.(Which I'll admit, she was right) and she just cut me off. I tried talking to her but she ignored me basically. She even had the audacity to tell me her crush in front of me. And one day she had the audacity to say, TO HER CRUSH, I was ignoring her, probably trying to get him to dislike me. We haven't talked and it's been 2 years, I still hate her for everything she did and said. I wish she would've still been my close friend. She's also cut one of my good friends off so I hate her for everything. When we called her out she asked what we were talking about and claimed to never do anything like that. I've moved and I'm happy to be in relief of her weight on my shoulders. I feel sorry for my other friend though. I've kind of got trust issues now. And I hope that A realizes what she's done and how much damage she's caused, and I know I shouldn't say this, but I hope she does that to all her friends so she's friendless and when she thinks of the good friends she has, she cries, it's cruel I know, but really, it hurt and I say her to feel the amount of damage she's caused. btw love your videos!

So I had a crush on this guys for abt a year but it was a MAJOR crush. This girl knew all along and was dating my crushes best friend. One day I kinda wanted to tell him but I wasn’t sure and was still rlly nervous bc who wouldn’t be. I told her and since I had his number, she told me to give it to her. I agreed but told her to not flat out say I liked him and to just ask if he liked anyone in his class. She said she wouldn’t misuse her power but boy did she. So she told me that he asked who in the class was asking and then when she said do u like anyone in ur class at all she said he didn’t respond. A few weeks go by and I’m freaking out this whole time and telling her if I should say something to him or not and she keeps telling me know just because “she doesn’t want me to screw anything up”. I ended up texting him anyway and asking if he liked me. He started typing and stopped after a minute which I thought was weird. The next day, at the same time as I was telling my friend I couldn’t think abt anything else, he texted me and said he didn’t like me. Come to find out a few weeks later that he knew that I liked him but he didn’t like me back and she just didn’t want to be the “bearer of bad news”, so she didn’t tell me. Also when I started texting him, she was telling him what to say the whole time and told him to not answer the question (that’s y he didn’t answer right away). The next day when I was texting her, she texted him and said I was going insane and that he should just tell me. Sry this was a lot but I just remember it very vividly
@JustSharon i have two stories: friend number one- I told her I was suicida!-back when I was-and she told her mom-who told my mom that she didn't want to hang out with me because I was. the second friend was the almost the same thing. I told her I was hurting myself and she told me just don't and then months later on my birthday she made it all about her.

My story: I went to a summer school and I met a new girl we became friends but after a bit she became friends with another girl and was sticking to her and talking to her a lot and I was just there quit like awkward silence. 8:56, I understand this kind of, I don't think I would completely abandon my friend, but if your not ready for a relationship even if you like someone, you wouldn't want your friend to go behind your back and tell him. Honestly it bothers me when friends tell peoples crushes that the friend likes them, because even if they did, they weren't ready and now they're gonna feel embarrassed and ignore their crush anyway. (It has happened before.)
I know this might not be one but me and my "friend" were writing song names on a board and I wrote "I fell in love with my best friend" and she said "you fell in like with me?" I'm like "girl no. We are writing song names." But a couple of years ago, she was claiming she wasn't my best friend and spread a rumor about me that may have turned out to be true. We are no longer friends. We never talked to each other when we entered high school and I distanced myself from her.

So I had this friend in 6-7 grade and we were pretty close both of us were good in studies but I scored more than her in the exams and I also got selected in the dance team while she didn't. Okay like honestly I love my friends to death but they practically treated me like a machine in 7th grade . Everyday they basically used me but back then I didn’t have many friends (I was short few pounds to heavy haven’t had glow up yet) so I thought if I didn’t have them I would lose all of my other kinda friends because I thought they only hung out with me because of my “friends”. We eventually fixed things but to this day that has made me so insecure and scared that everyone will do that. But I learned that people will like me for me, so like you say always a silver lining

Me and my friend were sooooo close and hung out everyday she slowly made me drop our other friend so she was one of those but I started to realize she was using me for clout on her jewelry business so I didn't come yo her house and she never wanted to come over and never came over which tells me that she didn't like me
I remember not that long ago me and my ex friend used to borrow stuff and I just remembered this she was at my house and she saw one of my necklaces I’m pretty sure and she said if she could borrow it and give it back next week or something and then when we were talking days later I asked her about and she said she lost it (I knew she had a reputation for stealing and I think it was one of my moms necklaces 😥) but I didn’t really care but still I’m kinda angry though.

y’all i once liked this boy and he liked me back and we were the cutest couple ever and our friends kept trying to set us up and whenever we were together all of them would just randomly disappear and i would have dated him if i hadn’t known his shy and afraid he was i almost asked him to a dance once 😅 i was like “Hey Riley” *slap hand over mouth*
