I was 8 and I was hanging with a group of 10-13 year olds and we were talking about Christmas and one of them looked at me and said "Wait, you know Santa isn't real right" and I very calmly said "Yes, I know" while having a internal freak out

How I found out about Santa not being real is very VERY traumatising. Basically when I was 8 I heard my Elsa doll singing and thought it was Santa bringing my present, turns out it was my parents accidentally pressing it while having sex on top of the gifts. I saw everything.
That's probably the WORST way to find out Santa's not real...

Some parents tend to be the reason we isolate our selves and they try to act like we were bestfriends in the old days
Sometimes it's what they went through that actually got them stirring up like this but at the same time go about it the wrong way and it hurts us to the point we actually wanna walk off a cliff

I have 2 older siblings. The one closest in age is 6 years older than me. Listen… when you have siblings with an age gap that big, to you, Santa has never been an actual thing.

My girlfriend is deployed right now, and we met right before she had to leave. My parents know I'm dating an army girl, but they don't know she's older than me by quite a bit (I'm legal). They also don't know we are going to plan our wedding when she comes home or that we planned the proposal for the day she will meet my parents (to prove to them that she really loves me). I was going to say yes either way.

I found out Santa was not real when my grandpa was preaching at church and did not know I was there so then he said “Kids be thinking that Santa this Santa that little do they know you are all behind it” everyone in church stared at me and my grandpa realized that I was there so he made a face like OMG what did I just do! And my dad and cousins started laughing, and there’s little 10 year old me with my mouth wide open and surprised 😂💀

She starts reading stories at 1:22. In the 4th story, the person should've told their mom what they found in the dad's drawer. In the 7th story, the person should've used the bathroom. In the 9th story, I agree with Sharon that the person should've tossed the item in a trash bin. In the 12th story, the girl shouldn't have hooked up with their mom's ex-boyfriend (her stepdad). In the 14th story, the person shouldn't be deceiving their parents. In the 15th story, the person shouldn't have done that. In the 17th story, the person should tell their mom that they have been having their period for 4 years.
similar to the girl who had to get the IV's and stuff. I faked a knee injury and I actually ended up having to get surgery lmao. I was immobilized for the entire summer when I was 11. Only my bestie knows that and I am still trying to figure it out to this day

I found out about Santa when I was 10.... I was taking a shower and afterward I realized I forgot my clothes... So I went in my mom's closet to look for something to wear... I found our little elf on the shelf in a box.. and I found the receipt from the store as well.... Eventually my parents questioned me to see if I messed with it and I lied and said no. Then they told me that Santa wasn't real....
im 14, my mom still marks half my presents "from santa" she knows that i know santa is real but still does so for the fun of it. i found out when i was 6 that santa wasnt real.

so, story time. my mom is super into the holidays and stuff but my dad really isn't, so this already made it kinda hard for them to decide what holiday traditions to pass on to me. my mom really wanted to do the whole santa claus thing but my dad didn't want to lie to me, so my mom really had to convince him to play along. the thing is, he sucked at it. maybe i could just sense it from him or my brain was too logical but i pretty much knew from the beginning but i never told my parents because i wanted more presents. my parents pretended up until i was twelve that i still believed in santa and sometimes they still do (lmao) but we had the whole conversation, which was started by me. my dad then admitted to his hesitation

The hooking up with mom's ex ... he isn't necessarily her stepdad. If her DAD married the stepbrother's MOM, and her mom only dated the stepbrother's dad, then he wouldn't be her stepdad. And I found out about Santa when I was 5 ... He brought me a doll that would crawl, then stand up and walk. I had asked for a FOOTBALL! My doll had a tragic accident (I think she was suicidal) - she kept (repeatedly) launching herself out of my hands onto the concrete sidewalk. I was "devastated" at losing her so young - she didn't even survive until the end of the month. She was replaced with another one, but they told me that she was a homebody and didn't like to go outside. She was just as bad - launching herself into the closet door. On January 8, I got the football I had asked Santa for in the first place.

I was 11 when my parents told me. I was about to start secondary school (grade 6 in America) and they didn't want me to get bullied for still believing in santa. Santa might not be real, but the magic always is.

6:15 I was 10, My bedroom was looking out to the loungeroom where we have the Christmas tree and I woke up on Christmas night because I need a drink of water and I saw my dad putting gifts under the tree, that was the moment I 100% realized Santa wasn't real (I was suspicious before I saw this)
I was 10 and I kinda just realized that Santa, Easter bunny, and tooth fairy were all absurd and impossible. Didn’t say anything to my parents, but they know now and I can help with my siblings gifts and also get extra presents🙃
