Recording for "Renfield"

Sean Hurley, Andrew Synowiec, and I (aka Why Dog Why) got to play on Marco Beltrami's score for the new Nicolas Cage movie Renfield. Sean took a lil vid of one of the cues called "Rebecca and Renfield Kick Ass" ... fight scene vibes. This was TK 2 which ended up being the take you can hear on the soundtrack. Full orchestra was overdubbed later. They basically said “Hey, can you just like … fill around all the hits throughout that whole section.” So fun, as always, getting to play with Sean and Andrew. This was in United Studio B, which sadly just closed a couple weeks ago. Such a great room. Gotta love the iPhone mic!
