"A dog finding a bone" that's hilarious. I love seeing China-made products, specifically Weilai offerings being experienced, enjoyed and appreciated outside the mainland. The jury is still out on allowing non-users/owners unrestricted access to NIO House offerings. I understand the stated logic; however, once NIO makes its way to the U.S., I don't think American users/owners would welcome this model, with the present company included. In any fashion, great episode. Best,
Brother that was deep statement there and I love it. “When we die we can’t take the fame, the money, the notoriety with us but we want to make the difference in your current place”. I am a medical professional and business owner in Hawaii USA but my dream is work hard and retired a few months each year in VN. Plus we are about the same age make me feel like I need to try harder. 😊
How much is the rent for this NIO House? $100K a month??? With all the expenses and salaries etc, $300K a month??? And how many cars sold/leased last month? Any profit made from the cars sold?
If you make a wrong investment, please change it. No one forces you to buy the Nio Stock. If you believe in the company, please wait. Don't mess around with misleading comments.
@kelvin5184 they don't have a contact email posted. I could use twitter, but decided not to make one just to contact them. Plus it's a long shot them actually giving me a chance. Most will just hire an Insufferable german who is over qualified & jumped like forty hoops on LinkedIn. I'd need to rub shoulders with the coo for a minute to be seen as a "valuable member"
That's the reason why NIO incurs huge losses every year. It's a car company, not a welfare organization. More importantly, it needs to focus on selling affordable cars and making a profit.I think both BYD and Xiaomi will survive, as long as they quickly address their quality issues
NIO started with high-end cars to establish the brand, just like Tesla. The new affordable sub-brands (ONVO and Alps) from NIO are coming for both Chinese and European markets as well.
It's too late now. There's fierce competition, especially from BYD and others, to produce affordable cars. NIO lacks sufficient funds to compete with BYD and Tesla. Their sub-brand doesn't generate significant profits, and the market situation in China isn't optimal. The NIO CEO has burned a lot of cash in recent years with little to show for it. Significant cost cuts are necessary to break even.
To win the European market, you have to do two things: sell affordable cars and build a good network of swapping stations. The price of Nio in Europe is too high. Do you think German people will spend a lot of money on a Chinese car, even if it's better than a Mercedes or BMW?
@@simodovic1731 I won't say NIO is in an optimal position in China, nor am I a battery-swapping believer, but NIO still dominates the high-end consumer EV markets in China and I don't think it's anytime soon to claim it too late, and the market is big enough for multiple players. Let's see if its sub-brands would succeed.
Looks like NIO is doing what German Government should be doing for its citizens, organizing social activities, concerts, place to hang out, free internet and electricity etc but at the expense of American investors. Please someone tell me we are not paying for all these activities, parties, concerts etc. Why do you need such a large play area for children, how much is NIO paying for rent for this location?
I saw sandwiches , and some ppl doing yoga I wonder how much of that is stock holders money ? 😤I can’t stand looking at all this money burning up ,meanwhile Nio is not a company that’s profitable!! It’s insane and Nio should focus on cars ONLY ! Stop this nonsense it’s not Starbucks !! William Lee what the fuck are you doing !!! ??? Focus on cars PLEASE !!!
@@Francis-of8cw yes I remember Apple doing something similar however it’s like you said they were already profitable and the economy wasn’t as bad. Today’s economy is not built to give away free stuff and pay an enormous amount of rent for Nio houses just so that ppl that don’t even own a Nio ,can sit back and drink coffe , INSANE !!!
Very gorgeous location, wow!
Incredible ecosystem that NIO has built, so I am happy to see it growing on a global scale!

1:15 You caught the guy to the right picking his nose 😂😂
Gotcha
Good service, but the products are unfortunately not at the level of Xpeng... Very good that it opened for everyone!
No, the Nio cars are high-end and a luxury brand, while Xpeng is more on par with Tesla.
how many cars Nio can sale in Germany per year?

I rather you report on the actual Truth of Chinese brands in EU and the Sale STATS.
I'd like to work for you guys. Can we arrange an interview?
You should probably write to them privately, i think they have a twitter account

appreciate the interest... we're based in Shanghai though
@@madev_channel Thank you for the reply. I'm in Austria at the moment. I have three passports, speak five languages & have visa free travel to China

Tesla's first EV, based on the Lotus Elise, was junk. Elon even says it was a disaster. NIO EP9 and out of the box innovation were incredible.

Exactly my thoughts.
This is how Apple became big. But yes they were already profitable then. We'll see in the next couple years if the brand takes off.

Making no money, selling no cars yet ripping off investors
wait what?
Dude sales are up lol. Profits are not there because you need economies of scale. At the factory level. Stuff like this is actually really cheap
