- Not the quickest lap I`ve ever done, but plenty of traffic to make it interesting.
GPS speeds showed
161 MPH / 256 KPH approaching Schwedenkreuz
150 MPH / 241 KPH up Kesselchen.
Gantry and high boost saw, 164 MPH / 264 KPH with time to slow and pull into the carpark.
It`s quicker than ever !

Thanks! That's what was so odd about the crash. Sure, they are quick laps, but I'm certainly not driving beyond what I'm comfortable with

Leaves pitlane. Standard "pace cars" ahead infers CD day ? 1:03 Al seems to be confirming yes its a CD trackday ;-) Nice to see industry testing 5:25. Someone should tell the guy at 5:54 until 6:28 that its not TF, he won't "waste a ticket" by trying to stay ahead and that he can have another lap free. Its all just so consistent, which I guess is a good thing. Looking at those vmax speeds Nige you're only 5mph off the greenie meanie and so I think you'd be yapping at the heels plenty, it would certainly be interesting to note the differences. A slightly more aero cut into the airflow (better accel/little more top end?) and more downforce allowing perhaps a more keen speed through SX/foxhole but I don't see much in that at all. Its a cracking piece of engineering. All you've got to do now is fix that leak where sand keeps falling out of your boot into the air behind and I think its ready to sell :)

Wonderful as always, just a better and better car and driver, great as always Nigel. I was a little surprised seeing 112-114C for oil temp while moving under various loads. Personally that is getting into the red for me, are you running a dry sump setup? I can not remember.
Getting into the red? Nah, I've had it into the 140's before fitting this cooler. I still get up to 130 if ambient is 30+ and I'm following another car closely.
I wouldn't say sub 120c is in the red, maybe 130-140c, then I would be getting concerned.

If you are on a trackday with me, just ask 🙂 if I don't have a passenger, I often take others out who have asked for a lap

Another great video. Your camera work and sound made me feel as if I was in the backseat. I could "feel" every upshift and bump. One thing I am always amazed by is how planted your car is. I never hear tire squeal. Do you run tire temp monitors, or is it totally by feel ?
