- FLAT OUT is the video series covering the history of rally from its beginnings way back in the 19th century, its evolution and where it is today, all the while looking at some of the greatest cars, drivers and stages to grace the worldwide sport.
Episode 2 covers roughly the years of 1960 - 1964. The sport had now began to ramp up in popularity and there some of the key frontrunners in this early period of the sport, especially one little British car shot ahead of the bigger peers and claimed dominance.

These really do remind me of the cars from store.steampowered.com/app/550320/art_of_rally/
Question: what music did you use for the intro?
That Lotus Cortina is one sweet looking car
I wish there were more modern cars like the Mini Cooper, but everything is very big now, even the new Fiat 500
I have always thought Mini should launch a Mini Cooper Classic which is similar in size and power to the original mini, but that would never happen. It would probably sell very well though.
@@JackohMotors it has very tiny wheels so the power ratio is good and it works for space efficiency
FalconGamer58 The closest you can come to are Japanese kei cars.

They could honestly make it a sort of electric quadricycle that you could drive on a bike license. There's definitely a market for that.
Great Video, great series, great channel. Dude you deserve so many more subscribers
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoy it :)

everytime someone speaks about mini's ,my brain trys to change it to binky
also great dokumentation :D 10/10
I don’t really have any criticism to offer other than maybe lowering the bass on your microphone output but, that might also just be my speakers. I really liked the video. Have a good one. Chur
Very impressive video series, helped a lot in learning some more about the WRCs history.
The Rally Mini is why I want a classic mini so so bad! The car is simply amazing
Can we get the UA-cam algorithm to pull itself together and recommend you to more people. I really think you are getting robbed of support because this content quality deserves more than 4k people behind it
As long as people enjoy what I put out I am happy enough, but views have been dropping as of late. Just UA-cam being UA-cam :)
You deserve more views
Brilliant series man!
those 3d graphics remind me of Need for Madness. Very nice vid
Is it bad that i think the intro is the best part of these videos?
The first Minis used in Rallying by the Works BMC Team were 850s (848cc), then the Cooper which was 997cc, followed my Copper ‘S’ of 970cc, 1071cc and 1275cc, which ever class they were entered in, non ever made 100bhp.
Nice work, I really enjoy your rally videos and how detailed they are.
Great series so far, loving it!
Love your channel man, hope the UA-cam algorithm blesses you, amazing quality!💯👌
Cheers ^^
how do you only have 4k subs????
One of life's many mysteries lol
Nice
The Mini should've won the most votes for Top Gear's Best Car in the World. I can't believe the *Land Rover* won, followed by the Audi Quattro and McLaren F1. 🤦
