      He always warned against gurus. Im sure he wouldn't like the videos that put music over his speeches. Because ot can give them a tone a meaning they once didn't have. Diluting the original message.

      Based on his journeys and trips and psychonaut adventures, I’m guessing he already now knows and knew during his travels and talks what would be, at least in the sense that William Gibson predicted and more than that even perhaps.

      Very thrilled as long as it doesn't become a cult. I met him when i was a child he was a cousin on my fathers side. He was so smart and caring and patient with all the children in the family.

      Its a strangely awed feeling, looking back from the future year 2024, he may have just fought and won the case for psychadelics and dissociatives (k) being investigated as tools for therapy and healing in mainstream mental health. It’s not as a permissive, accessible experience as he may have thought ideal; but i cant help but realise how terence signified humanity itself, and how we are creations of the nature we belong to. Our ability to perform meta-analysis and record our effect through history is societal awkwardness, literally self-consciousness.
      I would not have discovered him without the internet, regardless of my prior experience with mystical experience ❤

    "comes down to one.....uhhhh....dude." Ha, that was my favorite line in this video, even though he wasn't trying to be funny. I've listened to probably 300 hours of his talks and lectures, and he was just so animated, uncommonly-intelligent and quirky but it's hard to not laugh at the wrong moment sometimes. 😁 Anyway, I hadn't seen this one before, so thank you for posting it!

    TM was indeed a prophet of his time. Though wordy and fascinated by his own hallucinations, he left a rich legacy of archaic testimony based on his own regular sacred journeys with forest substances/teachers. Good stuff spoken by a decent sage.

    shamen see that the world is not what it appears to be, this is big news everywhere..
    so true, people don't want to leave the comfort zone while asking questions about being and the nature of reality should be an inherent factor of life or even happyness
    people have stopped asking these questions, metaphysical, epistemenogical, fenomenoligical philosophy has marginalized as has shamanism but it will always be essential to life

    • @yuvalesroni1680
      @yuvalesroni1680 3 роки тому +1

      Not really. Shamen are often selected from people who show 'psychotic' tendencies as the diagnostic literature would call it.. yet they are somehow able to traverse this nightmarish realm of extra-linguistic reality without losing the ability to come back with the knowledge of the experience. It's a huge sacrifice and the reason why these people live in solitude. because exposure to the "real" reality is traumatic and it alienates them from the rest of their community.

      In a sense. They can claim it due to the masturbation of such filth projected on you tube. You can become a shaman after one night of binge watching. In a historical analysis this is clearly not the truth. There are intense restrictions and years of training involved.
