The compressor is mostly 3D printed, but the impeller is from an old turbocharger and machined out of aluminum. It can spin much faster than any 3D-printable plastic without exploding which is why the compressor was able to achieve such a high boost pressure. Will be working on a future version that is fully 3D printed with multiple, lower-speed stages adding their pressures together.
I am a big fan of your channel and projects, and watching your builds inspired me to work on projects like this, pushing the limits of what hobbyist 3D printing can do
This version used gaseous propane as its fuel, but because of the cylinder getting cold, it can't run for very long without losing pressure. I will be experimenting with future versions that use either alcohol or kerosene depending which one is easier to get ignited
Awesome project! Your compressor seems to be working very well!

yo, its integza!
i was not expecting to hear such a sick jam!
and the jet is pretty cool too lol
Wow, what fuel is this thing using? Alcohol? Such a brilliant blue!
I would guess propane because a liquid would ignite so easily and easiest gas to buy is propane

@@AydenWardellAerospace Alkohol will be easyer to ignite but consider using both a small propane flame and then spray the fuel on it
How did you learn to model in fusion so well? I really struggle with it!
Wow, that music is unbearable!
idk what you mean, it goes so hard
