  • Quite realistic i think... What do you think?
    EEVEE: from 8 to 30 sec per frame
    Cycles: 40 sec per frame.

    Awesome job! Usually I am a fan of Cycles but in this case you've made both look photoreal. Blows my mind when people are able to light scenes this well.

    Fantastic comparison of the two engines. The Cycles render is clearly more cinematic in its color, contrast and depth, but if you didn't have it to compare to, I don't think anyone would balk at the EEVEE render. Thanks for posting the render times and image links. Can you add info on what your system setup is? Mainly curious as to the graphics card you're using.

      Thank you! My specs is:
      RTX 2060 6gb
      Ryzen 5 3600
      RAM 16gb
      The bottle neck in both render is memory. Blender eat memory like beast) For confortable work i need 32gb RAM and 12gb VRAM.

    Всё круто за исключением частиц (также можно добавить пыль путём симуляции дыма) и вариативности огня. Так же видно что персонаж симулирует работу). Объекты расставлены круто, анимацию камеры в конце можно было поинтересней сделать.

      Hi. Yes. It is plane with adaptive displacement. Also plane was subdivided a few times for sculpting hills. Displacement texture was downloaded from texture haven

    Is possible in some way add displacement in eevee ?

      It is possible. Use displacement modifier. Or use blender 4.1 alpha where eevee next has displacement.

    Eevee better - more cinematic fog. More fog - more render time in Cycles or strong denoising. Cycles render is more wet but im not sure its more realistic. Fire effects looks more strange without smoke in Cycles.

    Clearly shows when you’re not an expert in rendering you can make a stronger renderer to act a lot weaker.
