- Dangerous no train horn zone in downtown Lakeland Florida! Very long CSX Intermodal crosses the road where a girl was hit while listening to her headphones! I forgot to mention what happened at this same spot about a day before I recorded this. Somehow a person got wedged between the train and the passenger ramp. I saw it on tv on the news. The reporter didn't explain very well what happened. They showed a stopped freight train at this Amtrak station and just said somebody got stuck between the train and the ramp. I might try to find out more details. I cant believe how many people subbed to me recently. There was one day that 135 people subbed to me. Another day there was 105. My stats always go way up and then way down. I don't know how that happens. You'll eventually pass me in subs because you have great videos so don't worry! Anyway, thanks for watching and commenting!

Here in Southern California there have been a growing number of "Quiet Zones" not a good thing where there are safety concerns. If people are killed by on coming trains at least they weren't offended by that annoying horn LOL!!!

They have a no train Horn in downtown Tyler Texas. that's where I rail fan and it is at a interlock section..

No-horn zones are bullcrap. There's one I go thru on my way to work in Ocala. Next to the crossing, there's one of those roadside shrines with a floral cemetery cross. I'll admit I don't know the circumstances, but still ...

The place where I was at when I filmed me drinking root beer with the hat was at Solomans Castle in central Florida. It is a museum that an artist built by himself and he displays his artwork in it. I will show the outside of the castle in another video. Greetings to you and Tony!!

csx quiet zones are quad gates.union pacific quiet zones have medians.ns and bnsf quiet zones aint very common.either uncommon or rare
Where you was standing and the grass field i did miss something important. A (safety) fence to keep people from the tracks. (other side of the tracks did have one.)
Seems strange not hearing the horn.It is definitely missed.

This is now a quiet zone and trains no longer honk through here due to numerous people complaining about the whistles. Why would you move by the railroad tracks if you're going to complaing about whistles!?

When you said Quiet zones were popping up. You aren’t kidding. Rochelle became one in October 2016.
