She was popular for a song called, "Rescue Me." Billy Stewart sung another song that GQ also sung called, "Sitting In The Park." Please listen to the original version, of either song. Because the version is from 60's it's gonna be slower, but you'll appreciate it!!!

They were parties where couples would go or you went to find someone to go steady with. We used to have those in the 70s, and maybe in the 60s, too. Ask your grandma about them, too. From your reaction to the intro, I'd dare say that Doo-wop has a special hold on you. FYI, The Force MDs was the last group to record Doo-wop, which was popular.
