My first ever ergo build! And first every ergo typing experience (not this one though).
This was a perfectly timed commission for me to try out an ergo layout in proper fashion, on my desk, not at a keyboard meetup. I built this board on stream and purchased the Neo Ergo later that night.
Like all Matrix boards, the exploded diagram of this board confuses me. I'm not sure if it's possible to build the board with a stiffer mounting. I don't love that it feels squishy to type on with the default mounting style. I personally would prefer more feedback from a stiffer mounting/harder bottom out.
Anyways, Nyawice is still the best ergo Alice layout anything. I got the Neo Ergo just to prepare myself for future Nyawice speed typing.

I don't really like the matrix boards aesthetic but this board is both beautiful and sounds pretty good as well. Such a nice build!

sounds quieter than i thought, maybe becuase of the esd sheet? but then again, esd sheets tend to be very thin and barely impacts sound, could just be the natural acoustics of the board. im also tempted to get the neo ergo, but i already have an alice style board so kinda redundant for me to get another one.
there were options for plate and PE foam so there’s still some room to play. but yeah this is pretty quiet

0:13 look at how high you are typing, isn't it hurting your wrists? I bet you won't last 5 minutes continuously typing in that position and your shoulders will start aching as well.
