I met my ex wife thanks to this game. I defeated her brother on a local tournament and then he introduced me his sister. Is amazing how something carries memories not only related to itself.
For a ps2 game, the developers definitely put in the work. With a variety of savage supers or whatever they are called for this specific game and how much work was put into them deserves to be what I’d call one of the best games I have seen for the Ps2. Definitely and underrated gem

Bloody Roar 2 will always be the best one of the series. The soundtrack was amazing for a PS1 title. The characters and the overall gameplay was ahead of its time💯 Still remember Bakuryu and Shen-Long combos to this day🤣😂

Shina and Gado are two of my favorite fighting game characters of all time. Their beast moves were the most feral and brutal, and their no-frills normal moves looked like they fucking hurt. Fitting for a career soldier and his adopted daughter, and 100% by design. All of these characters were overflowing with personality. Thanks for the memories. Bring back Bloody Roar!
Bloody Roar 3 was my childhood! It was the most aesthetically pleasing in all the series. They did such a great job bringing back Samurai Showdown. Don’t see why they couldn’t do the same with Bloody Roar?
I can only hope one day in the future some game developer going to pick this game up and redesign the whole game with new graphics with the same character's storyline plus that new stages think of the technology we have today it can really upgrade this game.I mean look at Killer Instinct they brought that game back to life why not Bloody Roar
Bloody Roar 4 wasn't as much fun as 3 but my god playing this with my siblings was awesome. You could make anyone broken using the right DNA setups. My Uriko and Ryoho could kill in literally a few seconds.
Sad this series died, this was the cooler Tekken to me as a kid. I use Tekken as a point of reference since it was the only other 3D fighting game series I played back then.

The honey badger girl in killing bites is one of the few anime protagonist that you want her to lose. For what she did to that guy who's trying to help her and she tried to kill him at the end. I vaguely remembered playing this game when I was little, my dad's friend would bring his PS2 over and let us play on it, and this was one of the games (I don't know if he bought the game or we rented it) but I can strongly remember I always played Alice because I thought her rabbit form was cute, and my brother always played Xion because he was into edgy-type characters. It should definitely make a come-back, it'd be super popular in this day and age.
