The only console I had when I was a kid was a PS2, we were poor back then. Now I have a strong gaming PC and I still play on PCSX2, playing and remembering how hard life was before.

Because in childhood we don't think on future life, like which one I should select once I complete 12th standard, how much marks will I get, what my future life will be, which job should I get, what I should do in my life, when I will get marry, house, car and more. In childhood we only think of Cartoon Network, toys, playing with friends, chocolates, biscuits and so on. So childhood is always better and always remembered throughout the life.
oddly enough you could play in "Progressive Scan Mode" on some games by holding down "Triangle" and "X" on the startup screen before the "Playstation" logo appears. Some games like "Resident Evil 4" offered it and it bumps the game up to 480p resolution and makes everything appear alot more pleasantly
