Great video and love seeing base Necron Warriors which where children, shop workers and all the normal weak people of the society slaughter trained Military from other factions. Deathmarks, Immortals, Wraiths, Destroyers where the military members with Lychguard being the more elite warriors. The Glowing Warriors of the Void Dragon could only be hurt by Old Ones and weapons made by the Eldar Smith God. Necrons, Tyranids, and Chaos Marines and Deamons are the most terrifying thing to face as a human from the main factions. It's worse to be captured by Drukari but they are not as scary to fight. Even Orks and GeneStealers would be scary to fight as a Guardsmen or PDF.

Awesome story. Poor Jarl. Drell deserved his fate.
I hate what Matt Ward did to them. They were far more interesting to me as a near unstoppable half-buried lovecraftian horror. He turned my boys into Tomb Kings in Space. I only buy Necrons to kitbash them into my 'OldCron' homebrew army which I keep having to rewrite the rules and math for each time the main rules are tweaked so they stay in balance.

But isn't it completely unrealistic that mere guardsmen would stand even a sliver of a chance against Necron warriors? Since each of them is easily the equivalent of a Spacemarine due to their superhuman reflexes, strength, durability and beyond ridiculous weaponry? They would totally wipe the floor with any guardsmen who are totally outmatched in every regard
I think this is a case where lore parts ways with game mechanics (which are forever buffing the faction du jour!)
I have same issue with necrons story, they baisc infrantry seems always to be on space marine level. Lazgun does not gona do shit
Cool story but one thing: Nucrons lore suck ass. Before they were eldrich unding horrors from ancient past with mystery and dread around them. Rumoured to harvesting blanks for fight against chaos.
Now they are space egypt with shit politics and squables like any other living race plus deus-ex machina collector of primarchs. Some of the new models are great but I refuse to see anything past 4th ed as anything than fanfiction, and my headcanon is superior.
No they where no diffrent than tyranids now they have Awsome narratives it only for necron lords and crypteks necron warriors are still the same
What are you smoking, Nucrons are cool. Instead of being just a race of evil terminators, now they're more nuanced, more interesting. Trazyn is by far one of the best characters to come out of the new lore. You want eldritch monsters, you have Nids. I'll take Space Egypt, it's way cooler.
As a white man I prefer the old lore I don't care about egyptians. Keep that African voodoo out of my 4k thank you very much
