I bought this to use as my ignition switch on a 1963 Bolens 800 riding mower ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxaAnMgzTZ_djF6K1Kr3MGiW_XGUMfUP8n I repowered with a 13hp Predator engine. Worked great! On the back of this switch are 5 terminals labeled G, M, L, S, and B. The G was wired straight to ground, The S was wired from the back of the switch to my starter solenoid. The L is for any accessories, so I ran it from the L terminal to a rear light I have on the riding mower. M is for the coil, so I plugged the stock coil wire to this wire terminal. The B is for constant battery power, so this was wired to the positive battery cable. I turn the key, first click is the accessory position, and my rear light came on as expected. Turned the key all the way and Vroom...the engine started. Turn it back to the off position, and the engine turned off. Perfect! Hope this helps!

I need to do the reverse. Some tweeker removed the ignition switch on our atv at a horse rescue, and i need to install a stock ignition switch and also install a new dash so i can troubleshoot more easily. Decent video, thanks!

Hey Brandon, Unfortunately for me, keys get lost and sometimes stuff shows up with destroyed key switches, I hope this video helps all with lost keys.... Thanks for Ur thoughts, encouragement, watching, and commenting!!!!
Harvey the 3 poshion on the key switch is to trun the headlight on just like all the new 4 Wheeler from 96 up

Hey Bob!!!! I hate when keys get busted off.... U did manage to get the broken piece out just in time for the starter to soil the bed.... On days like that, I just wished that I stayed in bed.... Thanks for the info, Ur thoughts, watching, and commenting!!!!

Jonathan Cantwell mine would sometimes do that my whole ignition assembly was loose and you just have to fiddle with it a little bit
You could drill out the middle and use a screwdriver that is what I did
you never finish to what you do to get power to the other ones or if you move them all you said is take the green wire off and you never finished talking about what happens after that you just moved to taking the light off and what do you do after this point
yeah loosing a key would suck
