Another great video my friend! Well done!!! I just got hooked onto the underspin and can't wait to toss it! I actually made some plaster molds of swimbaits and flukes and I melt down old beat up plastics and reform them!
Ride Along Fishing oh wow, that's awesome! Yea, the underspin was money for me this year. Had a lot of luck with it around grass. Thanks for taking time to comment!
My friend, I don't know how I missed this video published over 18 months ago. Awesome tips! Thank you! I'm in central Florida with great bass fishing lakes all around me. Hope we can fish together sometime.
Yankee Tanker Outdoors hahahah thanks man, I appreciate that. Hope the tips help. I really focused on the soft body swim bait this year and it definitely produced.
I didn’t know that about pinning the bullet weight thank you. If I get a pack of scented or coated soft plastics I’ll put my just regular soft plastics in the bag with the coated ones and squish and mix them together lol to get that salt or power bait all over them.
EXTRAORDINARY!! I do a couple of these myself as well. There were several that I did not know either. I really enjoyed the concepts of adding eyes, cutting the swimbait in the belly to increase hookups and the bulletweight peg hack. I'm really going to try these out. I use the weighted swimbait hooks for the Berkley Havoc lineup crawfish imitations mainly. This will be very useful for that. A hack that I use is melting my plastics with a lighter to mold damaged soft plastics. I also smearing smelly jelly(tm) and that seems to give it a little more smell and taste. I'm not sure if this works or not but I think it does. I'm not sure if it's just a placebo effect but either way it gives me more confidence. Thanks for sharing all this information.
As I study various techniques, I hear more and more about finesse lures like the Ned rig and the dropshot. I had a fairly good idea how to set up the dropshot but I needed to learn more about the Ned. It seems simple enough, a mushroom jighead with a short or long soft plastic grub. Would a banana-head jig work as well? I like the weedless rig; quick, easy, and effective.
Dennis Nicholson it could. The reason for the mushroom head and Z-man TRD is that the bait floats. The mushroom head stands up really easy. But I know a lot of people who fish a round head with success. Just try different things to see what works on your lake. Thanks for watching man!
Debo, I'm new to your channel. You give some great tips. Do you or could you please make a video of how to choose the correct hook size and weight for soft plastics. 3.2, 3.5 up to 4inch. Ned rigs, sticks and worms. Kind of stuff. I need a good starting point. I'm a huge fan of the keitech brand. I also like torkar hooks.
Thanks for the tips! Picked me up some 4” keitechs along with 4/0 weighted screw lock hooks from owner. Really wanting to learn this technique for the shallows. What’s your preference on the weight for these and how to feesh them for the best results? Thanks in advance!
Ive got a tip to add. On the belly weighted or even weightless swimbait hooks i bend the point up just a hair. Just enough so that i can still rig it straight but so when you set the hook youve got a higher chance of sticking the fish in the face. I use this especially when throwing swimbaits into heavy grass or weeds. Stick em everytime!
Turtle Got Baits I heard that not too long ago! Guys also like to do the same thing with frogs. I'm definitely going to try that out this year. Thanks for taking the time to watch my vid and leave a tip, GREATLY appreciate it!
Castle My Astle the fat body 5" Keitech is my go-to for most applications. The 4" slim body are great for trailers. Hope this helps my man, thank you for watching!

I might try that through line, should you only do the bottom treble or are you meant to put a normal hook AND a treble?
Great info

I try to go with lower weight in the shallows. 1/4 oz or so on a 4".
Now we're talking good one bro
Thank you sir, hope the tips help!
DEBO'S Fishing o yes that little cut thing is really helpful
Who makes that assassin rod and reel?
