@@msr1116 cause he said pop :-) I used to call it pop when I lived in Illinois. When I moved to Florida, found out that's a no no lol. Here in Florida it's called soda.
I live in Anaheim and drive to the LA Pie Hole as it’s our favorite. Next time I suggest you try the Strawberry Lavender Hand pie! They are AMAZING! ✌🏽

I appreciate your honesty. It's refreshing. By the way, I went to Pacific Coast Hot Dogs because of your video and I was definitely not disappointed. Thanks for the tip.
Macaroni pies and savoury pies are generally a UK thing, so I am genuinely surprised and pleased you can get savoury pies in the US! I used to eat them a lot when I was a kid (we got them from local baker) but I can understand they're not for everyone as they are very stodgy. Glad you opted to use cutlery as it's very messy. Enjoying your food and Disney videos, and looking forward to the next one!
Adam I know you are very limited to what you can do for content right now but it is comforting to watch these videos during isolation. Thanks for releasing a video every day!
Thanks for having lunch with me Adam while I work from home. I always wanted to try that place glad you did it vicariously for me! Keep up the good work.
We have never been to the Pie Hole, and I think it is because we simply don't think of it whenever we visit the circle. Is a little off of the beaten path I guess. Watson also has indoor seating by the way. We ate there a couple of weeks ago. Love the posts Adam!
Astute observation, Big The Foot, it isn't nearly as fun being left at home to watch on UA-cam, but "This is what we're dealing with." I hope to see you again soon. Thanks, Adam! Loving this series.
Mr. The Woo, thank you for being here for us, to share in your adentures 🙌 BTW you can use almost anything to open a bottle! Ive even used a well-folded piece of paper on a few occasions 😂
What’s funny is that in the uk savoury pies are more of a normal thing, like yes we have fruit pies also it’s just so different than how America find savoury pies less normal 😝
Absolutely, pies are almost a staple food here in NZ. There is an annual nationwide best pie contest and ATW, you would be AMAZED by the variety of pies available.
@@iconicon5642 What a complete lie. Pies are eaten on the odd occasion. They're not our main diet. Typical Londoner who has never ventured out of the city.
@@EinkOLED wow, nasty about bloody pies, may be you should get out more often, sounds like it. Wow, 8 years since you've posted a video, you do need to get out! Depends on where you go in the US. pot pies, as we call them, are savory, some places call them pasties (pronuounced pahstee not paystee, that is something completely different). Have found them in the upper midwest and New England, where folks cooked for themselves based on their culinary traditions. However, for instance, not so much in the south, where the climate is too hot to bake after cooking and uh, (I was gonna be nice, but naw, not on that subject, not today.) the slaves doing most of the cooking when southern US cuisine was established did not have that as part of their culinary culture, so it's not prevalent here. That style of cooking and the descendants of those who cooked it are though. And yes, we did come up with the saying, shut your pie hole... Be nice, to much nasty about to be nasty about pies...
Another FUN FACT - Before this building was the Pie Hole, (and after it was Marty's Market) it was Orange Lock and Key!!!! How do I know this you may be wondering? I had an old boy friend that used to work there. That was around 2002, and I could tell that Orange Lock and Key had been there for quite awhile. I really miss hanging out in the Orange Circle! That's what I call it too! The renovations made a dirty old Locksmith building look like a crisp clean classic building now. MUCH BETTER!!! OK...I'm definitely going to have to check it out!!! Thanks Adam! Good Call!!
I am loving the food videos. It is refreshing to see someone enjoy the food without disecting or analyzing it. I have found that issue with some Mac & Cheese pizzas. You can't lose that gooey consistancy and still have mac & cheese.
It's disheartening to see so many negative comments. If people don't like the content, there's a lot more to choose from on the internet. I don't know why they watch if they would prefer other topics. My husband and I are still enjoying your videos. Stay safe.
My aunt and uncle lived in Orange since the 60's. Spent my summers swimming in their pool over by Schafer Park. It was a nice break form my ghetto neighborhood in SE LA
You continue to surprise me with enjoyably ideas. My dream a pie place for my pie hole. Meat n vegetable egg and fruit pies. Mmmmmm. Hey me n my girls cruised in a Bug when I was a youngun’.... Ohh the simplest of things. Thanks Adam..... Woo that was nice 😉👍🙏😎

Adam the way you come across and speak at times, reminds me of Anthony Bourdain. Great words at a great time of your conversation. Ever think about doing a TV series ...
It’s nice to reconnect with one’s neighbourhood and be seen doing it @ 4:00. Southerners wanting some of that pie @ 7:17. I usually go for a Steak and Stilton pie. 🥧 Shame about the tree.

Daamn Adam this series is awesome possum 😁 have me watching you and reviewbrah, I'm excited to see you maybe try some of you're followers suggested establishments.
Loved the reflection shot and the “weird angle”.! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I’m sure there’s a following for the mac-pie, but I think fillings with more pronounced flavors would be better... fruit, meat/stew-like things, seasoned veggies... The Pie Hole looks like a cool place. Thanks Adam,👍🏼🤘🏼😎
Great review, never heard of them before! I like your "rabbit trails"--(classic car alert) in the context of your Vlogs. That last car, a 1959 Ford Ranchero, is the finest one that I've ever seen. So is it still true that....."you won't get a lemon, from Toyota of Orange".. that jingle is still stuck in my head from when I used to live in Hollywood, and LA.
Ever had beaten biscuits? Southern thing, but I'm not sure if my Florida cousins eat it there. Georgia cousins love them. Can't visit with family yet, but I can bake, drive & drop off food for them. My Kentucky cousins love it when I make them. I've seen a video on youtube making them but of course only the Kentucky ones apply-they appear to be different in Maryland, etc. It is fun to see you eat different foods around your area. I missed southern food when I lived in Hollywood. Take care, stay safe.
As Ernest said, there's a Pasty Kitchen in Orange County. It's yum! A restaurant in Old Town Columbia (where the BTTF Day video was filmed) used to have them, and they were the best pasties, but they went out of business a few years ago. :(
I like how you can keep us happy during this time and inform us! Stay safe and keep up the good work!
