ORANGE, CALIFORNIA - In this video, we visited Las Salsas Taqueria in the City of Orange near Chapman University to try some unique Mexican foods like Machete Quesadillas or sometimes referred to as Machete Tacos. This is one of the only places, if not the only place, in Orange County that serves 18 inch Machete Quesadillas. Massive is the best description you can give to these quesadillas.
They also serve Huitlacoche, which is also known as corn smut or a corn fungus. This was our first time encountering Huitlacoche and we didn't know what to expect. We were definitely in for a surprise!
There were a lot of things on the menu and we opted for the Huaraches because we never heard of it before either. This place was swarming with locals.
What we ordered:
1. Machete Mixto with Chicharron and Al Pastor
2. Huitlacoche Machete
3. Carne Asada Huaraches
