Got a torrex sept 18. Shot 20-80 yards over the weekend @ 70 lbs. Really good bow fast and quiet. Been shooting since 95. I put a trophy ridge react sight and qad rest. Bow is all blackout. Bow was 599 plus 115 qad and 160 sights.
does anyone know how many pounds the cams will go up when you increase your draw weight? I bought a scale off of amazon and it says 53 pounds but I started my draw weight at 56. I have turned the cams 2 times since i have gotten it. Any Info will be helpful, 29 inch draw
Just the plastic limb pockets would be a deal breaker for me .. Along with the molded riser instead of a machined.... I just think 600 to 700 dollars for a bow you shouldn't sacrifice certain things.. But if you have the money and really want to try a Hoyt its the way to go.
I could never afford a new Hoyt anyways but I usually get a bow that's a couple years old for 500 or 600 bucks with a roller guard system and machined lb pockets as well as a machined riser.... But like I said if you had the money and wanted an entry level bow that it would be a good choice if u wanted a Hoyt... But I could get a used carbon spyder or RX1 for around the same price.
Mission and hoyt been using polymer limb pockets for years if they where breaking at unlarming rates id say they still wouldnt be using them and everyone in archery dosent need a rolller guard .the torexx xt has roller guard
I know.... It is a nice feature and I guess luxury... But I guess that's why the others are the price they are when you add up all the bells and whistles. I can't say anything because I have a bear bow and love it but it has a hairline crack in one limb and only pulls like 56 pounds.... I have been letting my step son shoot it and if I wasn't laid off because of virus I wanna hand down my bow to him so bad if I can get a new one that fits me better, and more than anything would love to see him and I go hunting together and possibly see him get his first deer and maybe even a buck! That would make me the proudest I've ever been. And to give him that memory to take with him through life would be so amazing. So in all honesty I would absolutely love to have the Hoyt or the MXR with the Mathew's technology. I hope that somehow I can make that happen this season, I'm not sure how many more I have left in me and while I have his interest in it!!! That bear status is one bow that looks amazing and with their new EKO cams I bet its so smooth!!! Anyways I love the reviews and what y'all do, have been a fan since I got serious into bow hunting three years ago and just wanna say thanks man, and keep it up I really do love you guys. BTW good luck to you guys and us all this season!!!
@@ThePatriotParadox dude you lost any respect when you said you let your step son shoot a bow with a cracked limb. Also why some of us would rather buy something new like the torrex rather than a used bow. Lifetime warranty would cover that cracked limb for the original owner
I bought the Torexx XT which is a slite upgrade and I love it it's a Fantastic bow for the money!
