That is a very nice mid-level, mid-year release from Hoyt. Very quiet in your video. Kudos to Hoyt!
I wish I made enough money to consider a $700 dollar bow a “budget bow”.
Exactly. I’m looking for a budget now and this 800-850 Package is too much
It’s called lay-a-way
Unfortunately anything less than that and your not going to get anything of real quality.
Honestly
Money and words like “budget” are difficult because they’re relative to the individual person. That said I would consider this a mid-level bow. It’s Hoyt’s least expensive option, but it has some pretty nice features and will shoot a lot like the much more expensive “flagship” or high-end bows. There’s nothing wrong with something like a PSE Stinger or Bear Cruzer, you can definitely shoot targets or hunt with them. That said, I shot a PSE Stinger for a while and noticed my consistency was less than it was when I shot something made a little better. Since this is new the price of the previous Hoyt Powermax will probably decrease, so might be worth looking for a new old stock Powermax or one that’s lightly used.
Great review & perspective. Appreciate the honesty.
Got mine a few days ago damn good bow love it. Shoot it everyday for at least an hour a day since I got it. Worth every penny.
Still worth every penny?
Great video n content ! The bow sounded pretty quiet at the shot .
Picked mine up today. Great bow package.
Where did you buy yours?
Hoffman Archery in Warrenton VA
Bought it a week ago. Love it! It's interesting, the accessories on mine are slightly different. QAD Hunter arrow rest, different shaped Fuse stabilizer and the quiver does not have the extension bracket.
What arrows are you shooting?
Great video!!
I have the Torrex and would like to change the Stabilizer, what would you recommend if I’m shooting with the Quiver on? Would it make a different if I install shock pods like to Torrex XT?
how would you compare this to the pse drive 3b?
How does the PSE Brute NXT stack up to the Hoyt Torrex?
Which would be the best buy, the Hoyt Torrex or the Bear Approach HC?
How does it compare to the power max?
This seems a little out of my budget as the package seems to go for like 800 I was hoping to keep it around 600
Compare to Bowtech Convergence, what is better?
Whisker biscuit slows down your arrow. And really affects your shot after 50 yards. Qad drop away is the way to go.
Can you send me a link where I can order 1 for international shipping?
I would like to ask: How is the roller system in the center of the bow in the TX model better than the one with an arm extended to hold the string? Does it slow down the wear and tear of the string? Thankyou
Generally speaking, the rule of thumb is that a roller guard it smother than a slide.
Somebody just told Hoyt is about to discontinue the budget bow’s. Is this true?
I'm saving up to buy this Bow in Camo
You buy it yet
even 6 months down the road, how is 600 dollars for a bare bow budget at all?
bro... i have an old PSE Bear (compaound), but the string is broken, i'm from Honduras, how can chanche the string? there is not any store around here...
You need a bow press
How much better then the powermax is the Torrex?
I can’t even find powermax’s for sale
Watched another video on this bow and dude shot a 500 grain arrow average speed at 275
What is the body of these bows made of? Just plastic?
Cast aluminum
Why would Hoyt start the draw length at 26in if it’s trying to get it out to the budget minded people men/women youth, should of started a adjustable draw length at 23 on up, but man did it sound good
I think the market is budget adult. Not youth
Got no arrows in your quiver
Budget?
I've been waiting 9 weeks for this bow and counting hoyt is really backed up
Has it came yet?
@@coophunts3741 I cancelled my order and am currently waiting an additional 2 weeks to get an axius alpha
@@kerrenhayer8077 oh ok where did you order it from?
@@coophunts3741 Vancouver canada
Been waiting since mid August myself for a LH70
In what world is $700 a budget bow.
Sense when was $700 budget friendly
When your budget is 1000 dollars lol it blows my mind how much some people pay for their set up
You can spend $2,000 if you want. Or more probably
Thats what i was thinkin
@@tuckerschwab5331 still doesn’t make 700 budget. You can easily spend 10k in a gun yet a bigger gun is 350-500
@@crunch9876 no shit, but compared to many other bows the price is not bad
Hoyt helix or Torrex?
@@BuffaloCreekOutdoorsOfficial i love my nitrux. Perfekt for my 100 yatd training
I had the Helix and wasn't a fan. I sold it after only 9 months. save the money and buy the Torrex and the money you wouldve used to buy the helix you can use on a good release or sight or whatever you like.
Damn.... 700 dollars considered as a budget...
Can you hunt with this bow
yes
I'm not sure
This would be a big upgrade from what I have for hunting.
People have hunted with bows for many thousands of years, so obviously yes
Why do these companies Straight up LIE about the FPS on their bows like I've seen it happen with every single review made their claims never match the reviews testing
You have to remember that when you see my videos, I am shooting the bows at 27 or 27.5" draw. Also, I tend to shoot an average hunting weight arrow, not the minimum 5 gpi arrows that companies use when testing speeds.
StYes Yes Yes Yes I FB b it iii I
Budget🤣🤣 I guess from a bow company that sells bows for up too $1600 that is cheap.
Clearly we know who their demographic is. Lol!
