    That is a very nice mid-level, mid-year release from Hoyt. Very quiet in your video. Kudos to Hoyt!

    I wish I made enough money to consider a $700 dollar bow a “budget bow”.

      Money and words like “budget” are difficult because they’re relative to the individual person. That said I would consider this a mid-level bow. It’s Hoyt’s least expensive option, but it has some pretty nice features and will shoot a lot like the much more expensive “flagship” or high-end bows. There’s nothing wrong with something like a PSE Stinger or Bear Cruzer, you can definitely shoot targets or hunt with them. That said, I shot a PSE Stinger for a while and noticed my consistency was less than it was when I shot something made a little better. Since this is new the price of the previous Hoyt Powermax will probably decrease, so might be worth looking for a new old stock Powermax or one that’s lightly used.

    Bought it a week ago. Love it! It's interesting, the accessories on mine are slightly different. QAD Hunter arrow rest, different shaped Fuse stabilizer and the quiver does not have the extension bracket.

    I have the Torrex and would like to change the Stabilizer, what would you recommend if I’m shooting with the Quiver on? Would it make a different if I install shock pods like to Torrex XT?

    Whisker biscuit slows down your arrow. And really affects your shot after 50 yards. Qad drop away is the way to go.

    • @BuffaloCreekOutdoorsOfficial
      @BuffaloCreekOutdoorsOfficial  Рік тому

      You have to remember that when you see my videos, I am shooting the bows at 27 or 27.5" draw. Also, I tend to shoot an average hunting weight arrow, not the minimum 5 gpi arrows that companies use when testing speeds.
