  • Who can we trust in the diet world? Everyone has an opinion. Vegans and raw vegans, high carb low fat vs low carb high fat. Carnivore influencers telling you all plants are poison. Fruitarians saying to eat nothing but fruit, balanced diet omnivores. Who's right?

I would never eat protein poweder. Don't care who recommends it. I enjoyed watching the recent interviews of Lou Corona too, and try to eat raw fruits and vegetables everyday. But that doesn't mean I'd buy his products. I eat a small amount of raw meat every morning instead of processed garbage. I believe in A. Vonderplanitz theory that cooked or processed foods have DEFORMED vitamins and minerals. One New York steak lasts me a whole week.

If people are selling you stuff, they are lying. Just assume they are. It's a conflict of interest, so you have more reason to distrust than to trust. Their goal is to make money first, helping you is second on the list if it is on the list at all. On top of this, if you are seeking diet advice, it likely means you have a digestive issue. Your digestive issues are different from another person's issues. Just because a diet helps them, does not mean it will help you. It could hurt you. There is no best diet because people have different issues to overcome. The journey should be to figure out what your issues are, and what helps and hurts those issues, not who has the best diet. Good luck to all those out there having issues!

Cooking allowed our ancestors to survive and thrive. Cooking makes it possible to digest a wider selection of foods better. You extract more energy and nutrients from smaller amounts of food. For that reason, I wouldn't dismiss cooked food. Cook things that are hard to digest, especially legumes.

Have you tried eating the way Lou Corona eats EXACTLY? Lemon Ginger Blast, gorilla milk, and a salad? I want to try it. I, like you, have tried tons of diets and I felt best doing extremely low sugar Raw, felt good doing extremely low sugar (meat and veggies), BUT I felt best doing it raw. And we have something in common with having trouble with sugar and having a hernia. I have a hiatal hernia and a umbilical hernia. I do think you need that mesh taken out and I empathize with you because it's a PAIN trying to figure out what to eat without losing my mind. I think the hernia slows down our bowels and causes the sugar to ferment in the small intestine. Anyway, I want to try Lou Corona's diet, because it looks easier than the Hippocrates cleanse I had success on.

I'm going to go out on a limb here: But with the quantities that fill the stomach in one go, with so many basically indigestible components, the next health crisis is pre-programmed.
Your dishes are always about compositions that are supposed to be healthy according to scientific standards and contain the appropriate nutrients. In the process, the finest instrument we humans possess, the sense of taste, is completely overrun. And the subtle change in our state of mind. In this way, we distance ourselves more and more from ourselves and think we can only trust experts. Which always has to fail.
And by the way: What do you think your ancestors ate to cope with their hard everyday life in Canada? What did they adapt to? Maybe it corresponded to the food that will still be available when the shit hits the fan?

If you are drinking water from local source, where you live, then you are screwing up the process in your body.
