The additional Paper Towel Mod takes it up a notch to where it graphs like a HD 600

What is the paper towel mod?

@ignaciosoy10 the same mod shown here, but apply an additional two ply paper towel filter between the driver and pad.

Seems pretty unnecessary really. For the price you can get the KPH 40's And they sound, look, and feel great right out of the box with no mods.

To each their own. Thanks for watching!

The KSC75 driver is titanium coated (same as the KTXPRO1). Most would agree this results in a noticeably altered sound over the PortaPro or the KPH40 outside the differences caused by the headbands. So, reason to have both!

The KPH40s are great, but as someone who has both those and headband modded KSC75's, they sound waaaay different, KSC75's are brighter and wider, KPH40's are warmer, bassier and narrower. Totally up to preference really.

I have both. They’re awesome. Can’t decide which is better. Make a switch- take the headband off the
40s and put it on the 75s. Ear clips from 75s go to the 40s. They’re BOTH better and more comfortable with the switch.
