Help me please! 🙏 I bought headphones six months ago, they didn’t seem to fall off, and recently, in my left ear, if you knock on it, you hear an unpleasant sound, as if a metal ball is scraping against something. If you listen to music, you can’t hear it, but if you pause it and move your head, you can hear it. What kind of breakdown is this? Did the wire pattern broken or what? 😱

i'm trying to avoid using bluetooth ear buds for making phone calls with a pixel 7. i got one of these, and although the audio (through USBAPP) can't play bit perfect, or able to handle above 24/96 audio (that's fine for driving around), it sounds ok. but i want to be able to make phone calls with my wired headsets that i have used for years with my lg g8. the mic isn't working when i try the apple dongle. i had read it's supposed to work. are there any settings that i need to make/change in the menus? or am i just chasing something i can't really do. again, i'm trying to avoid using bluetooth ear buds. thanks edit: i found out the phone capability works if you don't allow USBAPP to take over the sound output. that is a drawback, but for now i'll deal with it.

People are asking “what’s the best tips for ….” The sooner you learn that our ears are all different and what is great for your friend might not work for you. You must try different tips and see what feels good and gives you a great seal. Without that seal you might as well use headphones. Use stock tips to gain knowledge of your size. Keep in mind that different manufacturers sizes don’t match and check their sizing before ordering. Also check the size of your iems nozzle as said here. Some are chunky and some tips may not fit. My favorite tips are Sednaearfit Max Standard (great all round improving), Dunu S&S, JVC Spiral Dots and Divinus Velvet wide are my favorite to open up treble and soundstage, Final E tips are good for bass. Spinfits are good, mostly neutral, but as a basshead I migrated elsewhere. Good vid. Some don’t know exactly how much tips affect your sound.

For the price, unbeatable. Wired, obviously much better than wireless for home use. The comfort takes a while to get used to.. The sound quality easily makes up for it though. Previously I had a pair of 15 to 20 year old or so top of the range Sennheiser's that my dad gave me, and these can sort of match them, albeit more uncomfortably... a testament to how good the best were back in the day (and maybe in general considering you can pay thousands for a pair). I would compare them but the cable gave out... something I don't see happening with these.

Great review! Though the "chin slider" is called a "cinch" (pronounced "sinch"). It's not for the chin, but for tightening the cable at the nape or the back of the head when wearing the IEMs with the cable at the back. This is useful for musicians performing live for the most part to ensure the security of the IEMs making it less prone to fall mid-performance.

Tight clamping force is an absolute no for me, dog. Hope Hifiman can get it right the next time I guess. Look at the cheaper models which aren't made for tiny heads.
