the cables arent actually that bad, i bought a used pair of ksc75x and i have about 3 years with them theyve been pulled a bunch of times and used for mannyyyy hours and they still hold on. maybe im lucky or expect little of them but theyre good enough
i love my ksc 75 i think is truly endgame other than the sub-bass roll off which isnt horrible but is there, is the only thing that isnt that great.

Those Hifimans stop working after one year, because Hifiman doesn't care about their diaphragm longevity. Meanwhile the Koss cables can be fixed or replaced with a soldering iron. People are also 3d printing pieces that allow replaceable cables.If you're a little handy, you'll never need expensive headphones. There is also a Koss model named ktx1pro, which is basically KSC75 with a headband.
These Hifimans are 8 years old and still working perfectly.
When you learn about mmcx modding it will be a life changer for you. You can get high quality connectors and basically use any cable you want, you can massively upgrad the cable quality that way

I'm currently wearing my KOSS KSC75s Watching OddTaxi Anime When Your Video Shows Up At The Top . I Recently Acquired The Koss KPH40 , KPH30i , Porta Pro & KSC75 Which I Ordered The Same PartsExpress Band Your KSC75 Are On .Putting The KSC75 On A Band Makes These Usable Especially After Putting The YAXI PADS on My KSC75s Because They Are At That Point To Thick To Go On My Ears Using The Clips . The KSC75 Are The Least Sound Wise In My Opinion But Still Have Very Enjoyable Sound . The KOH30i Also Has Such A Nice Sound With The KPH40 Having The Best Sound Over All And The Porta Pros Have The Strongest Bass .

@@yeoldestuff thanks for your reply . I just got the KOSS Porta Pro Limited Edition In Beige Color . I Tested Them Against The Normal Porta Pros And Found There Is A Sound Difference And A Visible Build Quality Difference . The Limited Edition Wires Are Super Thin And The Sound Quality Is Noticably Different In A Bad Way Which Was A Huge Disappointment .
@@DroidLocks6971 I am sorry to hear this. Must be a big disappointment for you. Also their decision to go with a thinner wire is inexplicable, especially considering that the stock wiring is already the weakest part of Koss headphones.

No EU shops unfortunately, but there are now compatible headbands on AliExpress, item number 1005005379857192. These are sold VAT inclusive and delivered to the EU without additional fees/customs

How do those earpads compare to yaxis? I hear they are cheaper, but do they sound any better?
No idea to be honest, I haven't tried the Yaxi Pads, but these look more comfortable to me.

No, the Porta Pro sounds quite muffled compard to the KSC75.

Hi. Yes, I am familiar with the Porta Pro, they sound a bit "bloated" compared to the KSC75. The KSC75 have a much clearer and more spacious sound.
