I've worked out on traditional heavy bags ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.
I love all your drills. upper body strengthening training today I will have to save this one for first thing in the morning. Goodnight brother I hope the wolves come home with a load of trophies
Love the way you show and instruct, very helpful. Just started muay thai some month ago and im only sad that i didnt tried this many years ago. Keep up the good work. 🤛🥊
Awesome video, So how about the uppercut bag like what sort of Muay Thai drills would you do for that bag? That would be something cool to see I don’t see a lot of video about Muay Thai drills for a uppercut bag or wrecking ball bag
Thanks Sean! I've been following your drills from this video amd I've been enjoying my progress. Also, I've been to Phuket before, is your facility there? Maybe I'll cruise by if I find myself out there again!
Thank you for leading the way to some great workouts. I’m 63 and was in martial arts all my life. I had hip replacement last year and took some time off. Now I’m back. I’m a little hesitant to do a lot of power training due to my hip. Is there any thing that you can instruct me to train safely with my new hip? I’m wanting to train using my full hip rotation but I guess you could say, I’m a little nervous injuring myself. Thanks and have a great day.
Sean Fagan thank you, sir. 🙏🏻 You and my coach inspire me to train hard; not for competition, just to stay in shape. My father had a saying; “Stay ready, and you don’t have to get ready.” So I live by that now by what I do for a living and this is my one hobby. My diet is amazing too now because of my coach. Your videos help me. 🙏🏻
You have wonderful techniques in muaytai especially punching and kicking in the bag only i want you video and beating in the bag with the rounds and the time is longer thanks
Paul Banasiak hey, I'm a taekwondo player and I'm looking into taking muay thai lessons to complement it. May I ask you what do you use the teep for? Is it just to keep the opponent at a distance or do you actually put some striking power into it? We never really use it in tkd since we mainly fight in a side stance
Luisa It’s mainly used to keep your opponent at distance yes, but it can also be used to stop the momentum of an incoming attack when timed well. Very useful move, well worth the effort...
Lwisa. It serves kind of the same service as a side kick in tkd does, and/or like a jab in boxing. It’s mainly for spacing and keep away but you can definitely throw a lot of power into it when you need it
Really Good Video as always, but could u do a Video on breathing🙏? I always breath correctly when i run and Hit the bag but when i sparr or in the fight i just forget it completely 😅 Also Thank u for doing this for us sean🙏, have a good one brother 💪
Good video, what weight is that heavy bag? I've always like most thai style fighting but never lived near a school for it. I use my bad once in awhile. Getting motivated again thanks.
Really easy to understand tutorial... But the moped rider... In the gym ..that was some focus training right "old Thai proverb say if you can maintain accuracy, power and concentration whilst smoky Two stroke engine splutters past then you are a true master "
Sean, Do you have any videos that go through, in high detail, how to properly do a switch-kick? Any kicking with my left leg feels awkward as hell and I know I’m not doing it right. Thanks for the great videos; I just sub’d
Sean Fagan dude, the intro had me laughing enough that my wife just smacked me for waking her up (watching in bed); I felt like you were speaking to me directly lol. After watching your instruction and comparing it with some slo-mo video I took of myself doing bag work today, I can see all the areas you pointed out man; this was extremely helpful. The only thing I’m doing right is not jumping my eye level, so that’s a start lol. Thanks again Sean, I really appreciate it!
I find it funny how every time he makes a video like this, there's just motorcycles zooming by in the backround. I guess motorcycles are THE transportation in Thailand.
Hi Sean , I'm a 60 yr old who loves grip and strongman training . I have chosen your channel to help me get back into martial arts , Thankyou .SUBBED.
Backyard Iron 60 that’s beautiful! Thanks so much for subscribing 🙏

Comanche Straight blade yea that’s a good one I picked up from Shane over at FightTips. It’s one of my go to Drills now 👊

renoxfit 1 yea it’s always good to mix it up!
Love the 30/30/30 routine. I've done that but added an extra 30 of defense/counter punching.

That’s beautiful! Keep at it my man 👊
@@seanfagan Thanks for all you do.
Great video. PLEASE lower the volume on your video so we can hear you talk rather than the music.
Thanks for the input! There was a weird high pitched sound that was ruining the audio which is why I put music over it
Awesome video!
Thanks Deon!
Your technique is beautiful to watch
Drill number 1 I’ll practice a lot. Thank you for the upload
Vegeta Blunt thanks so much!

Teep Teep Teep, just have to drill it through my head and into the core of my soul
Paul Banasiak all day errr day!
Or add to the momentum of an incoming strike

I like the 30/30/30
Great channel, thanks for sharing
Nice work. Cheers. If you ever get a minute would you mind doing a video on the mechanics of the round kick. Low and high.
smdcosta I’ll put it on the list 👊
Definitely trying some of it today 💣
Super cool !!! 👍🙏
Thanks so much!

Anywhere between 60-100lbs is typically a good weight.
love it
Love the rooster. How about some drills to practice the sprawl against a real shot attempt?
I'll see what I can do!
If you could only chose one bag for home use which one would u chose between a heavy bag amd a tear drop bag for boxing, kicks, knees etc, etc?
How heavy is the bag he’s using? What’s the lightest (least expensive) bag I should buy for drills like this?
665 likes and no dislikes, I think you need to make more vids like this mate😁
Colby Johnson haha I guess so! Thanks for the love 🙏
Really easy to understand tutorial... But the moped rider... In the gym ..that was some focus training right "old Thai proverb say if you can maintain accuracy, power and concentration whilst smoky Two stroke engine splutters past then you are a true master "
Sean Hart 😂😂 it’s so normal to me now I don’t even realize it
great!
Thank you!
So, how you were close to the bag working your strikes is basically like fighting in the pocket with whomever ya fighting.?
Sean, Do you have any videos that go through, in high detail, how to properly do a switch-kick? Any kicking with my left leg feels awkward as hell and I know I’m not doing it right. Thanks for the great videos; I just sub’d
