Sean, I can't tell you how much I appreciate this video. I'm taking classes online and my technique when kicking was causing a lot of knee pain, this has helped me, and last night Coach Kirian noticed my improved technique. Still a long way to go, but I'll keep hammering. Thanks again.
@@seanfagan we train over vid conference. Turned my living room into a gym with 65" flat screen lol. It is amazing how much you can miss daily or even weekly routines.
My gym still open here in japan - hiroshima. I dont take chances, i stayed away for a month now. I miss the sound of the mitts and kick pads. Oiie! Oiiee!
Thank you very much Sean! I've been following your training and I enjoy it. We are blessed that you got all these effective skills ready for us. I've been practicing each one of them and my fighting level is improving drastically. I hope one day I get all the way to the top then we can meet. God bless us all.
Thank you Sean. That raised my heart rate and nice technique detail. Struggled with the Senchai switch and the rear teep into roundkick but overall loved it. Had my head thinking which is rear after years of Muay Thai
This video is awesome!!! I'm not confident with my shadow boxing and this is a fantastic workout. I will definitely use it a lot! Thanks for all your hard work!
I started following your workouts at the beginning of the covid outbreak, now that my fitness is a little better I’m combining the shadow boxing with resistance bands 👍 Really enjoying it
Evan for a super athalete it's still working his breath. That explains what a challenging and weight busting workout. Works technique as always .Thank sean
I have such a difficult time making kicks flow together when shadow boxing. There is always some kind of interruption that forces a pause in the workout, wether it be a hip pain from kicking to high and not being flexible enough or not being able to control the movements and ending a combination in a weak stance. This workout has a nice flow to it for me, it is certainly pointing out a lot of weaknesses in the ranges of motion for some of the drills, but I like being able to just move without thinking to much, then all of a sudden the rounds over. This was a really good idea, thank you for taking the time record and share these routines.
Keep the quality content coming! Truly amazing. Fun to watch, informative, easy to understand and a good follow workout. Love it when you say every move out loud. Thank you, Sean
This is sooo good in these locked up times! Thank you for this video! If you can please continue with them, with shadow exercising, padding combinations.... All the best man!
Man you're a great fighter and instructior , I have been getting different in my legs by you and still working on 100 kicks a day , Appreciate a lot Sean the coach , God bless you 👊🙏❤️
Been watching your videos for a while to get new ideas for training and they are all brilliant. I've recently decided to start Shadow Kicking, I've been boxing for a good few years but wanted to take up something new and learn how to use all aspects of my body. I was struggling to make a routine and was limited with my knowledge of kicking, but this has helped a bunch. Cheers for all the great content you are providing.
Shadow kicking workouts are no joke. One technique I like to practice is throwing the round kick, allowing it to spin me but following up with a spinning backfist from my opposite hand as I follow through.
Hello a fan of your work here,I find Muay thay very interesting and really like it to help me shed my weight off. I find your videos very interesting but sometimes it is difficult to follow smoothly, would be easy for a person who knows a thing or two in muay thay.If you could add timer set in your video editing and also do Hiit muay thay workout, maybe something similar to other fitness channel..I dont even know if im getting to the point lol...just a request kudos
I have been doing muay thai for over 2 years now, but find shadow boxing not easy. Your videos help me to get better at it and certainly this one that emphasizes the round houses. I am very glad that I discovered you🤣 It was through a friend🙏 Maybe one day I post some short video about me who's shadow boxing in your 💯 kicks 💯 days, I'm follwing and training at home with your videos... Unfortunately I don't have a bag or anything like that (not yet). I aint gonna start with my matras or stuff :D to much hassle.
yo brother just wanted to say amazing videos, i train in Toronto just started about 6 month before lockdown. Your Videos are helping big time in building good self training habits that will be my skills growing till we can get back to gyms. Thanks again. Keep it up.
Hi Sean. I have this 1 sesion and straight away 2 session hit intense with senchai combination that was really hard so total I have done 30m work out👊👊oshhh
Would be cool to have application examples for newbies. You know, like training a combination having in mind when to use it, ideally. You did it here a few times. Anyhow thanks a lot, great video!!!!! :)
Some man mister Fagan !! Like everyone I'm on lockdown. I do your shadowboxing and that footwork drill you had by the other two fellas but I was worried I was forgetting about kicking. Im fucking delighted you have one up. Best thing about the whole video is the technique of not having to actually do 360 spin for the kick. Myself perosnally I think its kind of a bad habit to build and you like you said you can't exactly do twenty of them like a fucking yoddle and feel sick ! keep up the good work
Thanks for the video..👍🏻I have question.. not relevant to this video but one of your previous. Is ultimate 20 minutes punch bag workout that you introduced moderate intensity level or high intensity level?
Hey Sean! I started watching your video’s a few months ago and started with muay thai myself! But because of the corona virus i have to do al of my stuf at home😬 1 tiny issue, I don’t own a heavy/punching bag to practice. I can do shadow boxing and do my workouts but it just gives me a nice feeling to actually hit something once a day Do you know a heavy/punching bag that would suit me wel? Im a 14 year old boy 5.25 feet and 103 pounds (Btw i have already learnt a lot from your( i think its your but im not sure because im dutch😅) video’s and I really appreciate wat you do🔥❤️
I'm having a hard time with throwing roundhouse kicks without over rotating or loosing some balance. Probably because I've been kicking pads or bags for years. Any suggestions?
I never saw this?! Da fudge I could use this while my shiney shimmering shins are aching from the 10min bag workout by this badass dude goes by the name of Sean Fagan 😂😂😂 Thanks brother! Keeps safe!
Hey ! I really enjoyed your video ! I would need some advices for the roundhouse... Actually it seems really weird to me, I don't get how you can throw your hips in the kick, any help is welcome ❤️
I tried to learn muay thai, but felt embarrassed at how shit i was. Naturally someone low in confidence. But couldnt pivot my foot to save my life and couldnt switch kick at all ever. Dont have the hip dexterity. Cant even skip properly but it did give me a greater appreciation for those who can.
Do you have any advice for avoiding irritating your knees when throwing the roundhouse (while shadowkicking)? If I don’t rotate fully with the kick I start to feel a bit of irritation in my knees.
Not sure. I find that making sure I foam roll and stretch out my hips/legs that I tend to have less pressure on my knees. When I don’t do that I tend to feel more pain
What’s up Shaun I have problems with high kicks I struggle to get my leg high enough to do a head kick. I feel my hips and groins are tight. Any advice on getting my kicks higher and maintaining balance?
I can kick a bag or my opponent fine, but when it comes to shadow kicking, I can never seem to get the technique right. It seems much slower and almost like I'm holding back.. I must be doing something wrong.
This is coming from an outside perspective I have never done boxing or martial arts before, but it could be because you don't have something to attack. Maybe imagine some dude you hate is right infront of you?
