I listed ten items on Vinted. One sold on the first day. Some clown offered me £4 when i was asking £5. A week later another one sold. I posted it in one of those Post it machines. Three weeks later it still hasn't arrived. I have written it off as a waste of time.

Or you have to download a label and print it at home?

What happened if the guy who is buying your item doesn't like the item and decide to send the empty box back to you for instance? You can't receive the money and you lose your item, right?
In this case you can open a dispute and Vinted will investigate. Maybe Vinted decides you keep the money 🤷🏼♀️ I don’t know

Hi I have a question. Once you drop off the item, how do you inform vinted that you’ve dropped it off? I have a certain amount of days to drop off the item before the order cancels, so how do I stop this from happening?

Hey! What if the buyer presses thst the item didn't arrive, or that it's notin a good state, while it did and is. So they are lying. Then i will not get my money??
And when someone buys something but i don't want them to buy it, because i don't trust the buyer. What do i do then?
If you don’t want someone to buy your item you can just cancel/decline the order. And if they say it didn’t arrive in a good state you still get the money, only if they send it back than you don’t get the money anymore (but they pay their own shipping again and I don’t think they will do that if the item it’s not expensive). And if they say it didn’t arrive and it actually did, it’s impossible if the package has tracking because you can see it arrived and they accepted it. If it doesn’t have tracking than you have to contact Vinted (don’t know in that case🤷🏼♀️)
That's exactly why I would never use any site like this, stick with eBay, worth paying the fees on eBay as buyer & sellers have lots of protection & eBay customer service are excellent

Because some people told me you could do that,and now some other ones are saying you have to send it and go to a mondial relay office,please help!!!

Yes, you have to pay for the bags/boxes. You can use black/ non transparent trash bags too with clear tape if you don’t have actual bags

Hi, if you want to buy from her than you can choose from her shipping opinions. You don’t have to change yours. When you buy the product Vinted will ask you to pay shipping for the options that she has. See what is Available when you press buy.
You can also buy them outside Vinted but I wouldn’t recommend that because you don’t know if you can trust her to send it by post if you already pay and it’s probably more expensive.

Why do u receive the money after sending the item?
What if the person lies saying they didn’t receive it but they actually did then I wouldn’t get my money and my item is gone?
What if you receive the money and you lie about sending the item? This works the same way. But when you send it, Vinted is tracking the package so if it arrives at the buyer, Vinted knows and after 2 days, even if the buyer doesn’t say anything you will still get the money
why does vinted send “pick up” shipping items to the most random places??? i’m sorry i’m so confused WHY they send it to pet care supply stores?

KCD hey 👋 if they are premade labels, yes because if you make them smaller you can’t read the name, address and barcode. And if you have to make them by yourself you just write the name and address so it can be smaller 😁 hope that helps

Yeah, you can make it smaller but it has to be readable

What will make future videos even better is to not use distracting music and sound effects, (such as the keyboard sound effects, and the really painful ringing sort of sound that I cannot better describe)! The absence of sound effects will make it easier to hear you great advice.

Hi I have a question I don’t have a kitchen scale how can I know for sure the weight of the package. And second I can put the package at the mail post? Like your local mail post or they have a mail point they are working with?
Well without a scale you can’t know for sure, you can just guess 🤷🏼♀️ and you don’t choose the method of shipping, the buyer is choosing it, but you can check in profile-setting-postage what options you have and there you can choose to use all of them or whichever you want. Than the buyer will pay for a shipping option from the ones that you chose to use and you have to send the package with what the buyer chose. Hope that helps 😄

Can someone help me? I want to sell a T shirt but there are alot of options the buyer can chose for shipping. I can only send the item at 2 of them. How can I disable the other options??
Go to profile-settings-postage and under your name and address you will see the shipping options. You can deactivate the ones that you don’t want to use😊

I can’t put tape on the code ? But what if it gets damaged on the way to the buyer ? :/ normally I put tape on all the paper because it can get damaged by rain etc etc ...
I guess you can put clear tape, but not something that will cover the barcode like colored tape

Hi , thanks 😊 to find your listed items you have to press PROFILE, right corner down and than VIEW my profile all the way up next to your pictures. There you should find all your listings 😄

You have multiple options for shipping and you have to send it with the shipping option that the buyer chooses because they pay for shipping. When someone is buying your items, you will see what they chose
Hey I’ll be surprised if you even respond but I’m confused on the actual drop offs. Do I have to specifically drop it off at their desired parcel drop of company or do I drop it off at any post office and they send it to the company? I’m sorry if I don’t make sense I’m very confused
Hi! So you always have to use the shipping option that the buyer pays for. So if they choose the post office you bring it to the post office, if they choose ups, you bring it to ups. When they buy something from you, you will receive in the message box with that buyer a label or information on where you have to send it. So on that label it will be written the option they chose. There is also drop off in person but that’s only if you activate it and the person that buys your products is close to you. The buyer always pays for shipping and if you don’t use the option they paid for and you go somewhere else, you will pay the shipping again and that’s not the point here to pay double shipping. I hope this is more clear for you 😊

When I add item to my favorites, people give me a offer to buy cheaper, how do I do that when someone added my item to their favorites?
When someone is adding your items to their favorites, you will get a notification. You can make them an offer with a cheaper price then
When you list an item’s price, do you have to include the shipping price with that?
No. Shipping price it’s set by Vinted. You list the item only with the price that you want for that item

I think you choose from 3 choices of size of parcel, the app gives examples eg a pair of earrings = small parcel etc

In Belgium we have Mondial Relay ( search on google Mondial relay and on their website you can put your post code and it will show you the drop points around you, it can be a furniture store or a food store or ...) and Bpost (every post office practically). The label is already paid and than you just go to one of this places and just leave the package there. That’s it😊

Hi! I just sold an item on vinted and they asked for identity confirmation like ssn and a picture of your passport or driver's license. Is id confirmation required to sell or is it optional like on mercari?

It's the place where you drop the thing your selling try find a place near you where hermes deliveries go and you can place it in a locker

At Profile-settings-payments-withdrawal options you can put your card info, but you will receive the money only after the buyer receives the item and says it’s okay. Hope that is helpful 😊

I think you need to put your bank account only if you want to send money from the Vinted account on your bank account. I’m not sure if you need it before that 🤷🏼♀️

No. It all depends on what shipping options chooses the buyer. They can choose to pay for the shipping first and you get a label ( just put it on the package and drop it where the buyer chose) or they can can choose for example normal post offices ( there you pay first, send a picture with the receipt of the payment and than get the money back). In the conversation with the buyer Vinted is telling you what the buyer chose and you have to ship it with that option

Hi. If you posted the item and that person bought it, then you have to wait and see what shipping options they chose. Depending on that you know if they paid or not. If you receive a message that says download label than they paid it. I can tell you for sure if you tell me the shipping options or I have another video about labels you can check out that one as well

I guess you can change your address anytime if you are the seller. But if the buyer wants to send the package back than I think you have to let them know otherwise they will send it to your old place

I don’t think so because it’s only available in some countries. Maybe you can talk to the sellers to buy stuff outside of Vinted 🤷🏼♀️

Where do I find my photos , when I try to post it only shows me 20 pics. How do I select ornfind all of my phone photos?
When you want to post something, you need to allow Vinted access to all your photos, maybe you didn’t do that. Also it will always say 20 up there when you want to choose the photos because that is the limit that you can post for 1 item, but you can still go through all your photos.
Ps: if you didn’t allow Vinted in the beginning to have access to all your photos, you can go in the settings of your phone( not the settings of the app), look for the Vinted app and choose to allow access to all photos

No, I just edited my comment, maybe you didn’t see it. Go to the settings of your phone, like general settings where you can change the sounds and see the last update for your phone. In those settings you search the app and there you can give access to all photos

Why does no one ever talk about when exactly do you get paid after the buyer receives the items?????
If they receive the package and press okay, that means that they like the item, then you get the money on the Vinted app. If they don’t press okay the money will be automatically sent to your Vinted account after 2 days or 24h since the buyer receives the package. And to get it on your bank account you have to send it by yourself from the Vinted account. Hope that answers your question😊

You can “spotlight wardrobe” or “bump items” but for that you have to pay Vinted. You can find it on your profile above your items

Nee, u kunt de verzendoptie kiezen om alleen Mondial relay te gebruiken via profile-settings-postage. Op die manier is de verzending goedkoper voor de koper 😊

Als dat uw enige mogelijkheid is, dan moet u het via bpost verzenden. U kunt er niets aan doen🤷🏼♀️
Mondial relay heeft heel veel punten! Meestal zijn het krantenwinkels of tankstations. Dus je hoeft normaalgezien niet naar BPost :)

I made another video about labels if you want to check it, but you could deactivate the shipping option with premade labels and leave only the ones that you can write by hand

Profile- settings - postage you can find all the shipping options you have and deactivate what you want

You can transfer it only on a bank account. PayPal works only if you want to pay for something
