I just wanted to sell stuff that I no longer fitted into. I sold a coat that cost £90 and asked £5. The amount of nonsense questions was unbelievable. I posted at leat 5 photos, inside, outside, brand, care instructions and it was nightmare. People want everything for nothing. It sold but by God I jumped through hoops for a fiver!

I sold a coat for really cheap and I had similar issues. I will rethink when posting clothes as I will consider donating as it makes feel better to give it away for free than spending so much time waiting for someone to pay. If the person does not want the item, why does Vinted allow 'waiting for payment'. Because you end of waiting and thinking the person will pay and they don't?

When I posted this one listing, so many wanted to buy it but nobody wanted to pay? So eventually, someone wanted it and actually paid for it. Some people waist your time because they can't make a decision to pay for the item so the seller has to wait for payment which is a flaw. Can Vinted change this as its not fair for the seller?

Do not EVER buy an item that does not have the option to collect from a local shop because if you pick door to door delivery and it doesn't arrive (but the delivery company says it's been delivered) you will never get your money back.

Please can I ask anyone a general question. I’ve uploaded a Zara hoodie & I’ve had over 20 views & 2 saves. I was wondering is it okay to send the users who saved it a msg to ask if they’re interested or should I patiently wait? I’m unsure if it’s frowned upon to msg potential buyers. Thanks for any response

I don’t have a printer and selected the local Evri shop.. however I took my sold package there to find that they do not print label! Lesson here is to make sure your local Evri shop prints labels

I save loads of stuff to my favourites but I don't decide to buy everything I like on Vinted becuase I'm not made of money. I need to be strategic about my choices and that tends to be easier once you work out how a garment fits in with the rest of your wardrobe. People will periodically check their favourites and make decisions. Just be patient - I hate when people message me after I've just saved something.
