What MOST people don't understand is ALL High HP marine engines use 4 blade props....dunno the config of this prop, but slightly over max rpm means wrong prop....4 blade Solas HR would add at LEAST 10mph, and bring the rpm's back to sanity....cylinder scouring at this WOT rpm is almost a given....re-prop this engine with the above mentioned.....drop the pitch by one
Solas props are junk the sho has to much torque for them I’ve went thru three of them in 51 engine hrs all three crack at the bottom of the ears on the barrel.. if you run this prop keep an eye on the barrel at the ear of the prop you will throw a ear
