Installed a new prop on this 2005 Yamaha F115 Four Stroke.
The prop is a 13 3/4 x 13P x 3 blade Stainless; we run the boat and check out the performance numbers to see how the engine runs with the new prop.
    PERFORMANCE:
    Planing RPM: 3600-4000 RRM
    4000 RPM: 20-21 mph
    4500 RPM: 24-25 mph
    5000 RPM: 27-27 mph
    5800-6000 RPM: 31-32 mph
    Enjoy!

You didn’t ask but I’m going to give my $.02 anyway. I have the same boat as you do but with a slightly newer F115XA. I do not have bottom paint. I think you can squeeze more performance out of that boat with a different prop. I’m running a Mercury Vengeance 13x16x3 and with a light load of myself at 240 pounds, one other person, and no ice or tackle I can hit the rev limiter of 6100 rpm and about 42 mph. With a full fishing load of 3 adults, enough rods and tackle to open our own shop, a couple hundred pounds of ice, plus drinks I can still hit 5700-5800 and 37-39 mph. My cruise is at 4300-4400 and 27-28 mph. I have my engine mounted in the third hole. Solas makes an average prop at best and I think it’s causing you to underperform. I’d look at re-propping with either a Mercury Vengeance or a Yamaha Talon. If you can find one of the above to borrow in 13x16 that would be the cheapest route to go to dial it in. I certainly would not drop below 14 pitch.

Appreciate the info-I’m going to see if I can find that size in one of those makes and try it out. Tough to find props these days as you know Lol
      What year is your 17?

@@selfemployedstudent it’s a 2003 with a 2014 F115XCA. Your hull looks slightly newer than mine but still in OS series which check in at 1700 pounds dry weight. And yes, props are tough to put your hands on right now.

@@tdfsu1 nice-I’ll try to find that prop used if I can and try it out and do an update. Thanks again for the info 🤙

I’m not sure-letters have faded off. It does help but trim tabs would be nice.

    you need a prop 14 or 15 P

That is wrong prop type, for this f115 you should use only props that have k mark, and you should try pitch 15 or 17 for that boat. K mark is original prop type that dont have blades like yours now, one side is straight, it is inovation from yamaha, huge amount of torque throught all rpms.
