- Ducati Panigale V2
Visordown puts the new 2020 Ducati Panigale V2 through its paces on track at Jerez; Here’s what we make of the new motorbike.
The 2020 Panigale V2 was unveiled around three weeks ago in Rimini. The bike is an evolution of the 959 Panigale but its mimics the V4 in looks, along with a 6-axis IMU EVO electronics package and slightly more power.

Should have made it gear driven camshaft. Belt=to much maintenance.
SD Canyon Carver It’s not a shit bmw.
That would be stupid.
A normal chain is still the most efficient way of getting power to the back wheel. Why sacrifice power in a sports bike for practicality??
If you want practicality, get a practical bike.
What belt?
@@BruceWayne-hf7zw cam belt
@@Kickassdave he means the belt in the engine not the chain to the wheel
959 was released in 2016. 899 is 2014 to 2015. I'm surprised they went with a single swingarm.
Test rode one yesterday, lovely bike... Highly tempted to get the wallet out!
I have met Harry at Motorcycle show, genuinely a nice guy, knowledgable and a proper bike lover.
Seems like a really great bike. I would like it in street fighter guise. Make it happen Ducati.
have you seen the streetfighter v4 yet?
@@spawnof200 Yes, that's a bit to ludicrous & extreme. This V2 with 150hp will be more user friendly I think.
Mark Watson a V2 Streetfighter has been confirmed by Ducati ✌️
How's the heat output? Living in South Florida, the only reason I have yet to buy one is because of the heat output (i've test ridden a 959 and that heat is completely UNBEARABLE with the ridiculously hot climate of Florida)
Treizez34 as Ducatistas would say it’s character mate 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Gsxr b my balls aren’t satisfied with this answer lol
Man why do you all put yourself in that suffering for a track bike just to look cool lol
Texarmageddon Being cool doesn’t factor into it at all.
Been riding sport bikes for 7 years cause I like them.
I like all bikes but if I’m to only own one, then I prefer a superbike (since I ride for fun and don’t commute; just track days and weekend jaunts).
Also, I have no qualms about being on one all day. Have never found it uncomfortable, position wise
Treizez34 Bahaha
Looked at Ducati’s test rode them in summer heat went to bmw dealer and bought a s1000rr 😂
Great review Harry! Thanks very much!
Thank you!
Rear suspension is SACHS/ZF. Not Showa like the front fork
Ohhh I'm in love with V4 but new babe in town
Looks and sounds fantastic
Nice review & great bike! Really like this & while it is expensive, it looks great & it does seem quite special. Also makes me think that the Supersport S is overpriced.
That's exactly what I thought so I went and purchased an 899.
V2 less then 17k lmao if you can’t afford that stick to the 5k range
thank you
Good review, especially for us taller people considering 959 vs V2 purchases. I am hoping for other colours but it has to be one of the most attractive bikes available
Excellent review for an excellent bike. I just sold my 1199 and really miss it. So I'll be having a white V2 to compliment my S1000RR.
Firstly great review. When I first saw the v2 my thoughts were why pay all that for a smaller engine. But after giving some thought. Its perfect. Looks like the v4 but cheaper also cheaper insurance. Less power so more usable also alot of reviews saying its usable power. I know I've never used the full power of my last litre bikes. Just more for image. So to me the v2 would be perfect. Also I wouldnt personally take a 20k bike on track. Where as a v2 I'd toy with the idea. If it's out right power you want buy a h2 and mod it. Or buy the 2020 s1000rr and tune it or flash it. I think this v2 is beautiful and it's how you would feel riding and owning. Just my opinion
Thank you Mike!
Subscribed..
Bikes are so MAD nowadays that 150 horsepower and 950cc is considered "middle weight".
I don't know what to think anymore.
But the 200hp plus monsters need a new sector on the market.
The v2 is a great superbike.
Nice bike and review..👍
Thank you
Took delivery of mine a couple of days ago!
Have they invested in new paint technology yet? 😂
It would be nice if the offered more colours.
Just curious about how tall you are mate? Thanks!
Nevermind watched the video!
He said 6'4"
And on the road? In the city? How well is it doing there?
Most people live in cities or is this bike meant to be used on a closed track only?
F G it’s a race bike with lights, there’s a lot of better bikes for the city
shut up, you are not gonna buy it anyway
The launch was track only, what did you want us to do - steal one?
@@visordown Only if you let us ride it too.
The 959 is from 2016
So Beauty.
The 12xx big Twin is over?
This might be a little old but in 2022 this bike is begging for a scream around a UK track. I absolutely love it, but would like the Troy Bayliss replica for it's Ohlins
Nice panigale
Yummy, can't wait to try it out myself, it's not cheap, but it's not average either.
Pretty
Brembo m4.32 calipers not the better M4. Shame
Rear shock is a Sachs.
It sounds - and (almost) looks - like you're reviewing the 2012 Ducati Panigale standard model (not the S) again. Are there any marked differences between the two? Are the delivered, rear-wheel horsepowers of the two the same?
Prefer the 1098 !
So many “ums” and “about 2014/15”... then just regurgitating a couple of Ducati facts. It’s honestly, not a great review.
I can google stats (maybe just give a few key ones).
Give the guy a break.
I love this bike! Best bike ever?
I can tell it's not for 6 feet people.
Its bigger than the v4
ehmmm Im like in the 4:50 minute of the review ehmmm and im like: no way im gonna keep watching this ehmmmm you know dude? ehmmm
FC
For the price the R1 🤷🏻♂️
