I started with sponge dreads they started locking up and held well at 6 months i had congos then i got a retwist and they just comb coiled it from the sectionsbi already had i had like 2 huge congos lol 😂 but my wife loves my comb coils❤ and she has dreads too

Ik this video old but I started my loc journey a month ago comb coil method my hair stays in the coil but my roots kinda untangle. Havent been getting them misted maybe twice and use rosemary oil every two days. Is this okay or am i doing something wrong
hey i just got my starter loc’s not to long ago and i had chose tha comb coil method for her to start them with with tha box part’s so when i went ian have enough gel it was barely enough but she made it work and she used water to help my hair so its only been like 4 day’s since i had them and some of them are already puffy and some aren’t i kno they don’t start buddin that quick so my question is will it be okay if i just leave them alone i really don’t mess with em n ion have ah durag to cover them up either but will they be okay if i just leave em alone until i get a retwist or what are ya thought’s on it? i been lookin up everywhere almost for an answer and even reached out to people who started with tha comb coil’s but i haven’t had anyone txt me back if ya don’t mind could ya let me kno what ya think about it because i feel like they’ll be okay but what do ya suggest?
I honestly didn’t put to much thought into it. But I do think two strand twist may give you a thicker loc. My hair is already really thick so It didn’t really matter to me.
Anyone peep she got the style at 5 months said it was itchy then at 6 months she went retwist but no style? 😂😂 I can dig it. Them styles look god but mannn a retwist with no style always hit!

Hey babes! You don’t have to get it retwisted every month. I just chose to in the beginning of my journey because of my frizz ( which I grew to love). I now can go 8-12 weeks in between retwist. It’s all about what you feel is best for your hair ❤️

Hey!! I would suggest leaving them alone and getting a durag and/or silk pillow case when you can.
