im glad my hair grows fast cuz i got made fun of for how short my locs were ( about 1 1/3 inches) but over three months of summer break my hair is now 4 and a half inches

I'm starting my loc journey for the first time ever today. I cut my hair impulsively so I'd have to start from the same length as you... This gave me so much confidence. I can't wait to start I'm just hoping I can stay consistent 🤞🏽
Thank you foe the helpful infomation..my mother passed away 20 yrs ago. 😢 AND i cut my hair. I was an i inch pass my shoulders. I was a mess znd did"nt know. 2016. My brother past away one out of 5. 2020 we lost our 2nd oldest sister and my husband at the same time. Each time i was cutting my hair. I living a pattering of cutting my hair 2020 was my last cut. With the help.og braids. And loc extentions i grew my hair back now im ready to start my new starter locs 👍❤️🙏

This was a great video! I love your hair! I'm 5 months in. I just took down my crochet faux locs and I too recommend to not put them in. I went through the same trials and tribulations as you. Also cut 2 of my locs. I was so devistated.
The same thing happened to me. I got myself some faux locs. I love the look, but the taking-out process had me wanting to cut off all my hair. I also accidentally cut off two locs when I said I was upset lol plus, I just started; I'm in the starter locs phase, but your locs are so pretty!!

It’s hard coping with the unruliness of the budding phase, but I’m learning to love it more and more. I can’t wait for them to start hanging on their own 🤣 but I feel like my loc journey is very similar to yours :)
New subbie. Your locs looks beautiful. I'm almost 4 month braid loc'd. The shrinkage and the friz is crazy for me. Installed my locs, my hair was around BSL to mid back but now looks shoulders. I'm always in wigs or turbans. 😂🤣
